My new computer has one HDMI and one DisplayPort output and I have two monitors I want to use.� This DisplayPort cable lets me use the second monitor now.� The 3' length is more than enough without having extra coiled up. My screen is 2056x1080.� Since this cable is 4K rated, it works great for my extra wide but not 4K large screen. 5 |

On my mac mini 2018 with a 4k monitor, I swapped an HDMI to HDMI cable with this thunderbolt to displayport cable. Huge difference! Before, the entire display was sluggish and unresponsive. Now, the picture is sharp, and the UI is smooth and responsive. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect to convert DisplayPort to HDMI This Plugable dongle has been working great to convert my DisplayPort output on my computer to work with an HDMI cable. Important note is that this is one-way: DisplayPort to HDMI, not the other way around. I chose to go with an adapter like this, rather than a cable with different DisplayPort and HDMI ends, as this gives me the freedom to change the HDMI cable I'm using with the computer if I want longer or shorter. I bought this cable because I was having an intermittent problem with my M1 MacBook Air freezing, showing pink screen, then resetting when connected to an external monitor. I read somewhere that using a DisplayPort cable rather than the HDMI one that I was using would help (perhaps the HDMI cable was causing the problem?). Anyway, the DisplayPort cable works fine and the Freeze/Reset problem has not recurred - so far. 5 |

We were hooking up an HDMI TV as a second monitor on a PC that had DisplayPort, this cable was perfect. It was the length we needed and avoided having to use an adapter from the DisplayPort on the PC to change to HDMI. Highly recommend use of this cable over a double ended HDMI cable and an adapter. 5 |
