1 Tb Drive Touchscreen Latest Asus Laptop 2024

I have used LaCie drives for years. Currently I have two 16 TB drives and the latest 18 TB drive. I have about 150,000 photographs, mostly RAW files, and the drives are used for storage and backup. I use both Lightroom and Photoshop almost every day, and retrieve my pics to work on from one drive, and then save and backup the work to the other two drives. Always reliable. Quiet. Fast. I recommend these units.

I have an Asus Laptop with Intel I7 processor and 16 GB of memory. I added a 500GB Samsung SDD as the main disk. And in the slot of the rewritable disc I put the HDD Barracuda 2 TB and it works incredible, fast, efficient and with great storage capacity, it is much faster than the original 1 TB disc that came from factory

Using an Asus ux501vw laptop, Windows 10, latest drivers and firmware. Works great! Write speed (Raid 0) 350MB/sec. Moved 1TB without any problems.

I bought this DVD Drive to go along with an ASUS ZenBook Pro UX501VW DS71T laptop which doesn't include an internal DVD drive. This DVD drive is barely the size of a DVD disk. It matches nicely with the laptop. It comes with a software disk and a USB splitter cable (you will need two USB ports available on your computer to use this drive). It is well constructed and functions beautifully. The included software is optional. This drive is plug and play, however, my laptop didn't come with Windows DVD Player software. No Problem... I downloaded a highly downloaded free DVD software suite and it works perfectly. It does what I bought it to do. It is not a blue-ray player though. If that is important to you, you'll need to pick another drive.

Installing it into my system was incredibly easy and quick, thanks to the PCIe express slots, and required very little effort to get into play in my gaming Laptop. It fit like a dream, no size problems at all, and connected seamlessly. This should work easily in a Laptop, modern desktop, or PS5.

As my new Asus laptop didn't have a DVD drive, I bought this unit as it was the same brand of my laptop and the price was very attractive. Works as expected.

My Asus rog strix scar edition gaming laptop didn't come with a optical drive so I bought this as a replacement and it works awesome super fast and ready to go out of the box I would definitely recommend

I have this drive in an Asus Arion usb-c external enclosure as a back-up drive and to quickly transfer games and movies between my laptop and desktop. Both my desktop PC and laptop are not the best and definitely have some bottlenecks, but even so I get over 600 mb/s transfer speeds 95% of the time for both reading and writing. It's become the drive I reach for the most for large video files especially. I definitely recommend it for this purpose, and I can only assume it would perform astoundingly well inside a pc as Kingston probably intended.
