1 Terabyte Ssd Drive

I replaced my 1 terabyte hard drive with this samsung 850 pro 512 gb and its practically instant on and everything opens fast ,i have a dell laptop i5447 i5 windows 8.1 . The software that came with the SSD did not work properly on my machine so i bought the apricorn 3.0 upgrade kit For $ $That cloned the hard drive flawlessly .:) Great SSD drive .BH was a pleasant buying experience (fast).

I bought this case hoping it would protect my Western Digital 4 Terabyte Ultra Drive. The drive fits in the case as if it were made for it, with just enough room for the drive cable. The case is tough, yet light weight. It locks tightly and says it is watertight, but I don't plan on testing that feature. This is a great little case and I highy recommend it.

It's a good little SSD, just an extra terabyte of storage for gaming on my laptop. Good speed, and I don't really have to worry about the thermal-issues that can arise from putting a 4.0/5.0 NVME in an enclosed laptop chassis. (The differences between 3.0, 4.0, and 5.0 SSDs are negligible when it comes to everything besides transfer of large files)

Eventually when 2-4 terabyte drives become standard SSD's may take the place of traditional hard drives as backup media. For now, 500GB is the sweet spot for a good boot drive. A little faster than my previous drives, and it just works.

Small 8 GB mem qtr terabyte ssd, no accessories min ports. Impossible to upgrade w ssds etc.

This 1TB Gold Anniversary Edition is another great hard drive from Western Digital.There are only two things that I do not particularly like about this drive.1.There are no rubber feet on the underside of the unit2.The USB cable is thicker and stiffer than the earlier modelsThese two combine to cause the drive to sometimes slide around when it's sitting on a smooth surface particularly when the USB cable is plugged into my MacBook Pro.Apart from those two minor complaints I really like this drive.1.This unit has so far performed flawlessly. 2.Compatible with both PC and Mac 3.USB 3.0/2.04.It's extremely fast and quiet5.Huge capacity6.Great price 7.Stays cool8.It looks awesome, has great form factor9.Contrary to what another reviewer has stated, this drive is extremely easy to reformat to the Mac platform, it took me all of 2 minutes10.Oh Yes, and there's Free Expedited Shipping, gotta love FES

It is a nicely sized 1 terabyte drive that is powered off of the USB port. I have purchased a few of these as they are economical.

I'm impressed with the price per terabyte for this unit when compared to comparable hardware. So far it has performed as expected. It's not the fastest drive, but I need it for archival, so it's totally satisfactory from a speed perspective, but awesome on capacity. I didn't RAID the drives -- just plugged it and used the 5 internals as 20TB each. I did have issues transferring files from a Mac Journaled drive to the native ExFAT, but, since formatting to match the source, it's been smooth sailing.
