10 Bit Colour Test

I mainly work with video, but the photos are also quite beautiful. Having 10-bit colour and working with S-log is now a joy, and actually pretty easy (coming from the A7III, where the 8-bit colour made using log footage a headache). The random shots i've used Cinetone have looked very good, although, as I said, Log is now actually fun to work with. The customizable flicker reduction is a great feature, and of course the auto focus (especially tracking) are more than enough for my needs. The connection to Sony's Image Edge app is also steady so far.

top quality, great colour and binder - a bit heavy though

I'm generally using it in night shots. incredible results. but a little bit heavy, 950gr :) perfect colour balance and high sharpness.

I own the Tamron 24-70, Nikon 24-70 non VR and the new Nikon 24-70. I have shot with the new lens for about 2 weeks and have found it sharper than the old lens, in the center but especially across the whole frame. This has given some very interesting results. The focus is instant and nearly silent. But what I really like about the lens is the colour and contrast, which is PHENOMENAL. The increased detail across the frame and fantastic colour rendition has given truly fantastic pics. The bokeh seems a bit smoother too. It also seems to have better light gather capabilities with brighter pictures. Don't listen to the whiners going on about it is big and heavy and too expensive. It is only a little bit longer and a little bit heavier than the old one. If it is too expensive, get something else and quit your whining! If you want the best possible pic quality in a highly refined zoom lens, this is the ticket. The 24-70vr is an incremental improvement in every way on a legendary lens. It is a true, pro level zoom lens that I find significantly better than cheap primes (Nikon 35 1.8 and much better than the 50 1.4 or the 85 1.8 at the longer end). When I take this lens out, the effort Nikon put into making it makes for a really sweet shooting experience, then I get the awesome results when you download... Perhaps you were confused, like I was, by some negative reviews; don't be. I am very demanding of my lenses and expect a very high level out of them. The Nikon 24-70vr has given excellent results in comparison and in real world usage. It is a keeper.

There is a slight bit of colour shift, but you will have tho with all filters that are this, this is a great filter. This along with a variable filter will give you more light reduction than you will ever need. If you take good care of it this filter will outlast your camera body and lenses. Buy the best one you can afford.
