10 Day Underground Weather Forecast Morris Ny

I shoot marching band and saw an upcoming event's weather forecast was for lots of rain and wind. This time the weatherman was right and we received almost 2 inches of rain in 3 hours. The Rainsleeve kept my camera and lens dry. (Canon Mark II N and Canon 70-200 f2.8 L) It was a bit tight on a professional EOS body but it did work fine. Naturally I had to take it off to change the battery but the SD/CF card changes were fine in the sleeve. I did have the rig on as monopod. I am not sure it would have worked with the neck strap. I did buy a couple of packs and am glad. I think I can get a two or three uses out of each one and they will be handy to have around.

Definite upgrade from the Morris New AC Slave II. This replaced a flash that was 10 years old. Very quick recycling time.

This Ecobee thermostat has been the best smart thermostat we have ever used. You can program different settings throughout the day, you can easily check the daily forecast, humidity, four-day forecast and more on your touch screen meter. The thermostat also has an app. Through the eco bee app you can see the same features and control your thermostat at the touch of your fingers. I’ve even received emails with updates about my home temperature setting. You can pair the thermostat with other ecobee products. It seems that this smart thermostat is definitely top-of-the-line. I highly recommend.

I use this in the field, in NY. I generally do landscape photography, or outdoor macro photography. With the cold weather, this has helped keep my camera warm so as to reduce condensation, but those times when a light sprinkle hits, this is a great addition to my camera bag. I love that its big enough for my longest zoom, but doesn't get in the way of my shorter lenses for macro shots.

I can usually get these cheaper through B&H than I can direct from Canon. And since they usually come from NY (we're in CT) the delivery is really quick. I once even got my order the same day.

I used this mic on a Sony ex1r, shooting on the roof of an apartment in NY during a very windy day. The mic did an amazing job. When I watched the footage I was sure the actors were wearing wireless mics. The mic is just superb.

I just finished filming a four day music festival in Ithaca NY using the Cobra 3. After holding this monopod for hours at a time, I can you tell you that the light weight carbon fiber makes a big difference!! Cam extension levers make it easy to adjust the height while filming without shaking the video footage. This is a must for anyone that shoots live music!!!
