...The Pile PTA 1000 is intended to power up that 15 Dayton 4 ohm speaker that consumes power past the point of usefulness. Allthough the instalation is incomplete, it powers up smartly and has good monitoring fetures. I like it. If I get any more excuses from those 5 and 3 channel amplifiers ,I will replace them all with banks of Piles. ... Solidly built, American made and, Pile will stand behind their product. If for whatever reason it does'nt performe, they will be there.It will be fixed or replaced. I have the anth...m preamp and power amps for home use. Let me tell you about it....! Incredible speaker for the price. Punchy for a 10 inch woofer, and a pair makes a super clear stereo field. I have a sub so the whole system is great. The only thing I don't like is the bluetooth connected announcement is super loud and can't be turned down, which is a bit startling during a quiet event, but definitely NOT a deal breaker. I am pleased.
