if you use a dr-100 for field recording, you know that the lithium battery (bpl-2) does not last too long if phantom power is needed. i have 2 batteries and i run out of power every time. when this external battery came out, i bought it very fast to try it. for my surprise it works amazingly good. highly recommended. i use 6 duracell 2450 mah on it and it lasts for many, many hours using the phantom power on my dr-100. cheers 5 |

This battery last me a day of shooting though I don't shoot 100% of the time in a 10 hour day. Waiting to see how long it powers my camera and a monitor. Its also smaller than I was expecting compared to some B4B I am used to using. 5 |

It was a free bonus included with another purchase, so the price was right! The list price is a little steep, no doubt partly related to the lithium battery, but if you want to give a nice, useful little gift -- I endorse this. 5 |
