This protects my very expensive lens from dog licks, kids, dust, drizzle, and the like. Light transmission is great and don't notice a difference that way. Oh yeah, it cuts out UV too. 5 |

This a very complex beast that I've just started playing with. It looks and feels like a pro camera and I have no doubt for many purposes it could serve as such. I have not gotten further with my evaluation because the camera comes with almost no documentation and while some might find the menu system intuitive, I do not. I have finally managed to get a copy of Alexander White's guide which just became available. Attesting to the complexity of this camera and it's versatility, The guide is 269 letter sized pages. I am a nature and wildlife photographer with some professional exposure and a battery DSLR bodies and pro lenses. Most of my work is printed in sizes up to 20" X 36". In spite of it's 1" sensor, I fully expect this camera to replace all the DSLR equipment for most of my purposes. Looking at a few exposures printed on a small non-pro printer, I,m impressed. This is a very expensive camera and I can not imagine that it does not come with reasonable documentation especially given it's complexity. I would not be happy without Alexander Whites Guide. 5 |

I have a nine year old nephew, Joseph, that put this on his shopping list. So I know this has got to be the best available on the market for the price. Why? Because Joe is a meticulous product researcher and if this got on his wish list... well.... i don't need to know anything else... and neither do you. 5 |

Went to Guitar Center and tried on some contenders - Sennheisers and Audio Technica, in the range of $150 - $300 - They all felt like they were crushing my head. These Sony's (or which I already owned 1 pair) are the only ones I can stand for hours at a time. Super light and just really comfy. Nice little bag to keep them in and they're also MUCH smaller to pack and travel with than the others, a big plus when packing for a flight for example! Just really great. Only flaw - I anticipate the earpiece covers may start to flake (my others did) but even if that happens I'd still opt for the comfort of these cans. If SONY could solve that issue they would have 100/100 of my vote. Right now it's 95/100.:) 5 |
