1000 Mbps Fast Ethernet Cable

I get 1000 mbps from Comcast and the modem can get it all 1000 mbps

Not much to say about an ethernet cable, except that it works.

Comes with USB 3.0 cable, transfer is fast (50-60 mBps), nice and small. Has a 1-year warranty with Western Digital. Easy to carry around due to it being a portable hard drive, so it does not need a separate power adapter.

I previously had a USB MicroB to USBA 3.0. Using this cable with USBC I, was shocked to see how fast this cable is, especially that the hard drives are USB MicroB and not the fancy blazing USB-C type. Keep in mind that the data transfer speed will depend on what drive you will be using and your computer’s resources. I tested on BOTH, a regular old school mechanical drive and a SSD Drive, a Samsung EVO 850, which is over 3 years old, in a USB MicroB case. A brand new SSD I’d guess would perform even better. You might need to use a full desktop browser if you can't see them on the BH App. I got speeds as fast as 440 Mbps on my SSD and the old school drive, 101 Mbps. I’m pretty happy with this cable. This TP-Link ER7206 router was purchased to replace an ancient D-Link DGL-4100 router that still worked but which no longer maintained full throughput and which didn't support IPv6. Both of these routers have built-in 4-port Ethernet switches. When it comes to Ethernet routers, my needs are quite simple and the ER7206 meets those needs perfectly. So far it seems to be performing flawlessly. The router is being fed by a cable modem (550 Mbps downstream and 22 Mbps upstream) and has a computer, color laser printer, smart TV, and Wi-Fi Access Point (AP) connected to it. The AP has a built-in 4-port switch to which a Blu-ray Disc player is connected. The router was directly connected to a computer for setup purposes and the process was straightforward. I did update the firmware, which is always a good idea since some fixes may be security related. If your needs are as simplistic as mine, then I highly recommend that you consider this product.

Getting 2.4 Mbps on my desktop. Bandwidth test shows speeds comparable to ethernet connection for gigabit internet plan. Awesome.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This adapter works like a charm! I was able to plug in both an Ethernet and charging cable without any issues. My internet speed was much faster (download speed improved by 140 mbps, and upload speed improved by 200 mbps) when using the Ethernet cord, which is really nice considering that my MacBook doesn’t have an Ethernet port. I’m excited to be able to have fast internet and charge my Mac at the same time!!

This unit will do 1000 Mbps and our internet provider supplies 300 with option to 400 or 500. This modem will last long into the future. Great quality!

I have Gigabit, 1000 Mbps fiber service. This access point (AP) is connected to a ER-X EdgeRouter X that's connected to my service. You will have to do your research before configuring these AP's and routers because they are not one click windows routers and AP's
