10.1 Inch Ultra Thin Portable Headrest Dvd Monitor

I had bought other brand magic arms before, to use them with my 10.1 inch monitor and nothing held it steady. This one feels sturdy the moment you grab it and I can now have my monitor mounted onto my rig for handheld or tripod shots and it stays on perfectly. Easy to mount and once tightened it will not move even if you are running with the rig. If you have struggled with magic arms before, save yourself some money and time and get this model. Our 10.1 inch ThinkPad fits perfectly inside this netbook sleeve. We like the soft flannel interior that protects the tablet surfaces. The carry handles makes it easy to transport, and the zippered pouch is great for carrying the charging cord.

I own 3 of these for a portable triple monitor setup. I'm tired of seeing only 1080p or 4K 15.6 inch monitors. 1080p isn't often enough. 4K is a little overkill and you might as well change the resolution on your desktop to 2.5K. Well, this is a native 2.5K display. Oh and it's 16:10 aspect ratio so it's actually 2560x1600. The extra height is glorious for working in Davinci Resolve, Blender, and any other program. It also has full size HDMI which is very rare for quality portable monitors. Don't buy the garbage you see floating around on Amazon when it comes to portable monitors. Buy the ASUS. ViewSonic also has some quality options. I like ViewSonic's 1080p OLED, the physical design is better but it's micro HDMI and well ... it could have been 2.5K. Overall ... as of 2024 this is literally the best portable IPS OLED monitor that's affordable you can buy. I used my xRite color calibration tool to calibrate each monitor to 400 nits and Rec709. You can confidently color grade on these. They have minimal back light bleed. ASUS has been releasing 2.5K 15.6 inch 16:10 (same resolution) OLED panels in some of their latest laptops, so we might see a new Zenscreen like this in 2025 as an OLED panel. However, you can't go wrong with a tried and true IPS panel. These are great. Go for it!

I am glad I bought the 10.1 instead of a smaller monitor. I use it on an ARRI ALEXA Classic, and it sits well on top of the large camera. I had some trouble finding out which cables to use and had to buy an extra one or two, but I am still learning the gear. I am happy with this monitor.
