1080P Gaming Monitor Cheap Speakers
TravisIsCaribbeanTTV | 2024-09-14 06:15:38 |
Very good and cheap monitor for 1080p gaming or a good seconday monitor, I had no issues with this the size is also perfect for 1080p, if you go up to like 27-32 inches monitor (1080p) it gets blurry, If you want a budget monitor buy this honest (any card should be able to get 165hz on this ez) 5 |

Great monitor for gaming and for general use. It does not have built in speakers. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been on the market for a gaming monitor. I wanted something that wasn’t just HDR compatible, was high refresh rate, at least 30”, and 1440p. I was upgrading from a 144Hz, 1080p monitor that was 37”, way too big for 1080p. I saw the 32” G7 in a store and ordered it shortly after. This monitor is everything I was wanting. I didn’t think I’d like the curvature of the display, but I think it helps further envelope me in games. The refresh rate is more than ample for my needs. My desktop won’t be driving AAA games at 240Hz, but Nvidia G-sync helps with that. Colors are vibrant for a standard LCD panel and the 1440p resolution is just enough for gaming without stressing my system by pushing 4K. The built-in speakers are serviceable. They have RGB lighting that is controlled via the monitor itself. I would like to plug it in via USB and have an app for controlling it, but the OSD is fine. There’s also an RGB light ring on the back. It would also have been nice if it adapted to whatever the monitor was displaying. But those are two small complaints in an otherwise great monitor that will suit my needs for years. 5 |

Arguably the best budget 1080p gaming monitor that you can buy. Great colors, even though its a little saturated, but I like that look. Impressive features like Freesync, 165hz (up to 180hz OC), 1ms response time (although a bit misleading), and its IPS panel. It's sharp, has good customizability, and is overall very good. There isnt really anything bad I can say about this monitor. BUY IT! 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know this monitor is intended to be used with a computer, but i got to thinking, my new Xbox is technically a computer so why not. Hooked it up and BOOM, I was gaming! I do wish it had built in speakers but for how amazing The game looks on this Monitor, I will live with hooking up external speakers of some kind. The refresh rate is astonishing! My 12 year old is a tech junkie and he sat with me, just as amazed as I was at the picture on the screen and the clarity and how much is doesn't lag!! My gaming skills have drastically improved! I will most definitely be purchasing HyperX products from now on! 5 |

I use this monitor for work and gaming on my Xbox Series S/Nintendo Switch. Easy to setup, looks stunning, the controls on the back are easy to use, turn on, switches inputs quickly and easily. The speakers are surprisingly good if you're someone who isn't too concerned about audio, I use a headset most of the time but on the off times I use the built in speakers they sound good. The settings navigation UI isn't great but not something I would worry about to impact the quality of the monitor. Definitely recommend this monitor. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This serves as my work-from-home monitor and is also used for gaming and watching TV when not working. The available apps cover all my streaming needs, the picture quality is excellent. There is also an option to use the latest game streaming services (Xbox Cloud Gaming, Amazon Luna, or Google Stadia [though this service has been recently discontinued]). The built-in speakers are even pretty good. Especially considering what you typically get with a monitor. You can also connect Bluetooth speakers and have the TV route audio through it instead. The remote works very well and has some quick launch buttons for the more common streaming apps as well. It may take a little getting used to, at first. Since it doesn't really have "input" switching buttons. Instead, you navigate to the different types of devices that you have connected (or apps installed). So, when you're wanting to play Xbox, you would go to the gaming section on the home screen and select either the physical Xbox that's connected or launch the Xbox Cloud app to stream games. My only real complaint with this monitor is that the stand isn't adjustable. I'd like to raise it just slightly higher. It is at a pretty good height, but I would like it just a little higher for my personal preference. 5 |

I purchase this monitor for the dual use of general computer use and gaming. Having tried some higher refresh rate TN panels that were great at gaming, but that were not very good for everyday tasks. This monitor fits the bill with a 75 Hz refresh rate and adaptive sync that works with NVIDIA when using DisplayPort. Keep in mind that the adaptive sync range is pretty small 48 Hz to 75 Hz but running at native 1920x1200 resolution, games look spectacular. When using the monitor for text and photo editing, it is clear, bright, and has excellent color depth. The monitor includes a built-in USB hub as well as integrated speakers. The speakers don't give you a wide range of sound but they are plenty loud and perfectly serviceable. For rich sound though you will need external speakers. The on-screen display (OSD) and quick access buttons on the front of the monitor are very easy to use. Additionally, there a many presets for different use cases that work well for reading, photo editing, and general use. The only complaint I have is that I wish the pixel density was a little higher. However, all things considered, I am happy with this monitor. 5 |
