12 Cubic Foot Upright Freezer

I was happy to get these and be able to use them, a one-gallon sized plastic freezer bag is just the right width to fill with sand and place into either side of the saddle-bag. This fit perfectly on the bottom of the stands for the Background Support System - 12' Wide; B&H# IMBGSS12 | MFR#3046 I could have filled the compartments up even more but put a total of 12 lbs of sand in mine and they hold that background system firmly in place. At 12 lbs they are not bulging or unmanageable. Could probably squeeze 20 lbs of sand in them if I packed it in. 5 |

I fill heavy duty plastic freezer bags with 12 pounds sand and slide them into these. These are a must for weighting light stands outdoors, if there is any breeze at all. And, I use them as a safety precaution on light stands indoors. I also use them for weighting the leading edge of seamless background paper, and marking extension cords that are snaking across the studio floor. I have found them handy when trying to counterbalance a large umbrella, or a strobe on a boom arm. The bright orange color is a positive feature. People see them. 5 |

These stands are built with quality and are very strong. Legs spread wide enough that keep it upright even at 12 feet high. Leveling leg is a must for uneven surfaces. 5 |

Great for keeping the 12 foot light stands anchored to the ground 5 |

The RRS LCF-12 replacement foot must be installed with the RRS LC-A14 lens collar. I was able to get a deal from the B&H Used Department for the lens collar in as new condition, but I was not asked to review the collar, only the foot. Since either piece without the other is fairly useless, I'll pass along my opinion of the assembly: If you own and use a Nikon AF-S 200-500mm f/5.6E, and you ever mount your rig to a tripod, especially to a head with an ARCA-type clamp, you must have this. This lens is too heavy to safely mount with a screw-on plate adapter. Camera/lens stability, balance and security will be exponentially improved. 5 |

This is a good choice for 12-25 foot mic cables. It secures with a zip tie (included) and has a wide secure wrap. 5 |

We see no changes in speed or connection using this so I recommend it when you are in situations requiring more length, we are often at the top of a 12 foot studio stand and this provides the distance we need to get to the art directors viewing station. 5 |

I have three of the 12 foot lighting stands and the arms are very cumbersome to assemble disassemble and transport These arms seem very sturdy and it's just a snap connecting them to the lighting stands (and in cramped spaces under the speakers on speaker stands). Get a set and I promise you'll go back and get a second set! I use all LED pucks, I don't know if I would recommend them for heavy PAR fixtures. 5 |

Mine shipped with the LCF-12 foot (longer). Balances we'll with D850, all focal lengths. Lowers COG and has much smoother rotation than Nikon original. Very happy. 5 |

I have had Manfrotto 12 foot stands for many years. The new design is more compact and still as stable as the older version. Simple changes and still functional. 5 |
