12 Month Financing Desktop Computer Gtx 970

I'm traveling for now; and my gtx 970 desktop's PSU fried so i needed something to haul around that's more portable. bought the Lenovo LOQ with the i7-13700h cpu, 16 gigs ram, 4050 GPU on sale when it was 749.99; it became one of BH's top sellers and for good reason. for this price, it was a no brainer. it beats out all the competitors. there were no corners cut with this model. you're getting best in class CPU- a 13700h- not an i5 or a lesser i7 like a 13620h. No, you're getting the best intel has to offer which includes the faster memory (5600mhz). With this Lenovo LOQ, you're getting the best 4050 series laptop money can buy. PERIOD. and for hundred(s) of dollars less. the 6gb video card may bother some people, but one of the hardest pills to swallow is to be honest with yourself. people like the idea of future proofing (which i myself like as well). but will you honestly buy that future triple-A title that needs the 4060? i told myself back in 2019 i'd buy Cyberpunk 2077. 4 years later, i still haven't bought it and dont plan on doing so. I literally have a backlog of Triple-A games i haven't even touched: Witcher 2 and 3; the entire batman series (asylum, city, knight, etc), and many... many more. All of which this Laptop can play on Ultra with 60+frames!! - waay better than my gtx 970 desktop could ever do. it all comes down to knowing what your needs are and what works for you. for me... this Laptop is easily one of the best purchases i've made. HANDS DOWN.

I used the Module to upgrade a new Dell Inspiron desktop computer from 12 to 24 GB (had to remove a 4 GB module and replace it with the new one). I installed the module myself and had no problems doing this. The PC is noticeably faster with the expanded memory.

I have 12 portable hard drives. No desktop that I have owned or seen has enoughUSB inputs to handle 12 portable hard drives plus the USB ports that are required for the keyboard, mouse and printer. This hub is the solution to the problem. I really like that there is an on-off switch for each station. When I am about to boot up my desktop computer I turn off all the ports that I will not be using for the session. This prevents accidentally disconnecting a hard drive while the computer is on which can corrupt data in the drive. This hub has a power supply that is very substantial. I really don't know what its function is but I guess its necessary to have enough gain from the hard drive. The only downside of having 10 hard drives hooked up to this hub is where to find the space to store the hard drives. Also many of the hard drives I have come with a cable that is only 12 inches long and that limits where you can place the drive. I intend to purchase some that are 24 inches or more to replace those cables.

Big improvement over my previous GTX 1660 Ti that came with my Dell XPS desktop. Of course it runs faster but also quieter and cooler.

I bought the AppleCare Protection Plan for my 2006 iMac desktop computer and one month before it expired there was a total melt down of the system. Something about a malfunctioning mother board, over-heated and melted down the whole thing. Apple gave me a whole new computer (saved all my stuff) and transferred it to the new one. It was the latest model and it has been running smoothly ever since. It is now over ten years old. Just in case, I was very happy to buy another Plan with my new laptop.

Bought this last month to try and streamline my computer situation. I had noticed my desktop starting to give me some issues. Insdead of purchasing a new desktop I decided to try and consolodate everything and just use my laptop. Everything works as advertised. I have no experience with "hubs" so I was hoping things would work like I imagined. I had one hiccup with my Thunderbolt software on my laptop, but the service team got back to me in quick order with detailed walk through directions to get it updated, and everything works like a dream. I plug in my laptop with the Thunderbolt cord and my displays, keyboard, mouse, and printers all work perfectly. Highly recommend.

Installed in desktop system along with an older Samsung 970 EVO PLUS 2TB, since the motherboard has two M.2 slots. A third Samsung SSD is a 4TB SATA type, and there are two Intel SSDs in PCIe slots. PCIe 3.0 bus in use, since this is an older platform.

I use this with a Samsung 970 NVMe for a clone back up drive. The desktop I built has a 970 drive as primary and I use Samsung Migration to create a clone as a back up. Works nice and is well constructed. All metal for heat dissipation.
