12 Volt Electric Cooler For Car

This charger not only does 110 but has a 12 volt adapter included.

I use this transformer to run an old 24 volt edison electric ? lamp (3 bulbs) that is in my front yard. The original transformer burned out after probably 20 or so years, and this transformer had the same specs (volts, amps, current) so I gave it a try. It works great. No difference from the original other than it's made in China not the USA... Much quieter than the old one too. Not a sound. The original transformer I had used to hum.

I have a small hatch back and was looking for a mobile power station to use with my electric cooler. The space in my trunk is very constrained and simply put, this knocks it out of the park. This unit easily runs my cooler for 24 hours, even in my confined trunk with minimal airflow. I have also been using it as a portable power station to run my Laptop, charge USB devices, etc. with zero difficulties. It really is as simple as plug in and go. The light weight is also a massive bonus and makes loading the car very simple!

Great for charging multiple batteries and the ability to charge from a 12 volt source is great for when you are traveling and need to top off your batteries.

Maybe this isn't quite what Sony had in mind for it's adapter. I use a 12 volt dc sealed cell battery, plug a 120 volt converter into that, then convert it back into dc with the Sony adapter. I do that for extreme extended battery use for astrophotography field use. It seems to work fine. There's no overheating in any part of my contraption, including the Sony Adapter.

So nice to get to charge all 3 of my batteries at once. It can also be ran off of a small inverter from a 12 volt plug in a vehicle. Definitely worth the money.

I power my Ikan 502 with a 12 volt drycell for long video taping at locations where power isn't available.

I used the supply to power 2 G4 style LED under counter lamps. They are 12-volt LEDs that I wired in parallel and each use 240mA so the 500mA rating of this PS was perfect.

I have a the charger Canon makes but wanted a backup. Not only is the Pearstone charger about half the price of Canon's,it also comes with a 12-volt DC attachment so I can charge batteries in my car and with a plug adapter that is the one most commonly needed one in Europe - Canon's charger does not have these.

I was looking for a 12 volt power adapter with a long power cable. The Bescor power adapter has a wall wart power adapter with a 6 foot cable to the DC power end. I wanted to operate my AndyCine monitor on my camera and plug the power adapter in at the floor because it is difficult to have to mount it on the tripod so it isn't dangling. This adapter is perfect for my needs. I'm glad I found it at B&H.
