Battery charger for up to 8 AA or AAA NiMH NiCd batteries. It also will tell you if a battery is no good. You can also completely drain a battery on it before a recharge, which extends the life and strength of the battery. The only setback is that this is not a fast charger, so extra batteries are needed if one is doing a lot of flash work with remotes. 5 |

What else could you want in a AA/AAA NiMH/NiCd battery charger? It has eight LCDs showing the charging status for each battery, a discharge function to refresh the batteries, reverse polarity protection if the batteries are installed backwards, and a separate automatic shutoff for each battery when it is fully charged. And it can charge any combination of one or more AA, AAA NiMh and/or NiCd batteries. Its rated charging time is 3.6-4.6 hr for AA batteries and 1.6-2.0 hr for AAA's. 5 |

worked just like the product I replaced except uses a double A battery instead of a nine volt. 5 |

I do not believe I have ever reviewed a flashlight before. This one is a neat convenient package. Interesting too that it has a 9 volt battery. Works well with a rotating switch. I like it give it a try 5 |

This little flashlight packs a punch. The secret is in the 3.7 volt/ 2.4Wh 16340 with built in USB micro rechargeable port (on the battery). That battery gives this little flashlight a powerful long lasting bright beam. I'm glad that I purchased two of them. I keep one in my toolbox and the other in my car. Highly recommended. 5 |

Maybe this isn't quite what Sony had in mind for it's adapter. I use a 12 volt dc sealed cell battery, plug a 120 volt converter into that, then convert it back into dc with the Sony adapter. I do that for extreme extended battery use for astrophotography field use. It seems to work fine. There's no overheating in any part of my contraption, including the Sony Adapter. 5 |

The battery charger that came with my Canon Rebel was 110-Volt only. On a Smoky Mountain vacation, my installed battery went dead and there was simply no place to charge it. This charger allows you to charge the battery by way of the cigarette lighter. No more will a dead battery stop me from my photography and I thank the B&H people for leading me to this alternative battery charger 5 |

I use this to recharge the batteries for my Nikon D500. I have only charged two at the same time once - when I first received with two new batteries that were down to about 15%. I like the fact that it shows the capacity of the battery, each individually. There is also a port for charging a USB device (5 volt - 2A output) I have not used and it also came with a short cord to connect to the 12 volt outlet in the car so batteries can be charged on the way to or between shoots which might be necessary when using Nikon's adapter for wireless flash as it does pull the Nikon D500 battery down rather quickly. 5 |

One of the Q&A’s says the Bescor BLS50AC dummy battery adapter kit is not compatible with the Olympus E-PL9. I asked Bescor ( answers@bescor.com ) why the kit is compatible with the Olympus OM-D E-M5/M10, but not the Olympus Pen E PL9, since all three use the same Olympus BLS-50 battery. The response was: “It will work. Your camera just needs to be added to our list.” The Bescor is 8V 3A. The Olympus battery is 7.2V 1175 mAh (1.175A). I did some online research to see if a device built for 7.2V could operate at 8V. One person describing himself as an engineer posted that 7.4V Lithium batteries actually span a 6V to 8.4v voltage range depending on state of charge of the battery. Another “senior electrical engineer” said that because all devices are designed with some voltage tolerance value, a 7.4 volt device means 7.4 volt +/- 1 to 1.5 volts. Still other posts indicated that you can use a 3A power adapter on a 1.5A device. By logical extension, I figured (I don’t actually know) that since the PL9 uses a 7.2 volt battery, it is probably designed to also work at 8 volts, and is also okay running at 3A. Based on the response from Bescor and the Internet voltage and amperage responses, I decided to purchase the Bescor and use it with my PL9. I haven’t seen any sign of overheating or other problems with this setup so far, but will update this review if that changes. I did not deduct points for the need to leave the battery compartment open because I knew that would be the case when I bought it. 5 |

I'm so pleased to find a fresh 6 volt silver battery to restore the functions of my Minox 35 GL. Now I'm looking at many more years of service from my pocket camera. 5 |
