12 Weird Diy School Supplies You Should Try

I use this with Geshelli Labs excellent JNOG3 DAC. I was initially disappointed with the sound stage of this DAC. It was wide but the depth was not very layered. I have had past success improving sound with upgraded power supplies, so decided to try an iFi as a quick test before going linear. Might as well get the top model. I am very impressed. The soundstage deepened and layers emerged. Imaging and detail improved. This really unleashed the $600 JNOG3 to produce a nice holographic image that rivals my $1400 DIY Ian Canada monster (I have an obsession with DACs. Got the JNOG3 as my first AKM test unit ). My system is fairly high end: DIY BMR Philharmonitor speakers with high-end crossover components, DIY 24-strand OCC braided speaker cables, DIY Hypex Nilai500 monoblocks, DIY Goldpoint attenuator in lieu of a preamp, JNOG3 DAC (for this review) with Kimber Hero XLR interconnects. Silver solder, copper/gold connectors and all that jazz. I share this setup for context. My system is VERY revealing and sensitive to any change in the signal path or power supplies. The improvement from adding the iPower X was instantly noticeable on my system. The improvement may not be as apparent on a less revealing system. YMMV. As a simple, drop-in power supply upgrade, the iPower X is a low-cost way to improve low voltage audio equipment performance. Highly recommended.

Should have bought these with the lights! I bought a pair of these power supplies since I had previously bought two Bescor LED lights, that are now discontinued. I thought that I would only use the lights in mobile situations (8 AA batteries in each light!) Asked B&H for help, they suggested these-- a perfect match!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Weird to live in a time where wires are old school but here we are. If you need an audio adapter, this definitely fits the bill. For me, I was able to plug my phone into speakers that aren't bluetooth enabled. Worked perfectly.

I am not a photographer, I'm actually a college student studying business. I got this bag in hopes I could shove all of my school supplies in it, vs using a backpack. Upon receiving the bag it felt and looked very well made and expensive. I absolutely love the magnetic closures, not only are they satisfying but help in the event I am too lazy to zip the bag back up or forget to do so. Every little design aspect of this bag fits what I was looking for... except one thing. It's just too small for what I need. This flaw has nothing to do with the design, If I could keep it I certainly would. It feels very well made, is comfortable to use (although I do wish the crossbody strap included would go longer), and looks very very nice. It's my own fault for purchasing an item I knew may be too small, but I loved its design and the way it looked so much I wanted to get it and make sure it wouldn't work. I'll be returning this bag only because it doesn't fit my size needs, not because of the bag itself. I would highly recommend this bag to anyone needing to fit smaller items, unlike myself... (I had a laptop, notebooks, 32 oz hydroflask, and other school supplies I needed to put in it).

5 stars as an entry level tripod. If it is something you are only going to use a few times per year then this is the tripod for you.
