120 Format Cameras

I use this in all my 120 format cameras: Holga, Diana, and Lubitel. I find the colors consistant and the film has a decent exposure latitude. I usually keep several rolls in my camera bag.

Been in love with this stock since I first shot it 2 years ago, wish it came in 120 format as well

This format for 120 film is perfect. The vertical sleeve makes it harder for my negatives to slip out.

Grabbed this after using the medium format (120) version of it. So glad I did, and will continue to use this in my Super 8!

I already own the Linhof 3D micro head, but I decided to buy this finally with no regrets, it is better than my Linhof head in operation, they look like similar items, but they are not the same !! I chose the quick release version, It works well with my Linhof Techno 69, although it is a bit hard to reach the flip lock release at times, after a few tries for getting use to, it turns out to be fine, otherwise choose the classic turning knob version, which shall be more appropriate for large format cameras with a huge camera base, This head is great for marco work and Large format photography, because it has the most precise movement of Geared Heads, I use this on a Gitzo 3 series tripod with Geared Center Column GS3311GS, this set up is simply the best for my use with Medium Format Cameras like 503CW, and Linhof Large Format Cameras, because it is very stable, I would also recommand the Arca Swiss Univeral L Bracket to use with this head, it will make the entire setup very user friendly and versatile in operation,

Just got a few rolls (120 format) of this new-to-me film. I shot it in a vintage Ansco Titan 6x6 camera (1948). Developed it in Rodinal 1:50 for the recommended 22 minutes at 20C. Excellent tonal range and reasonable grain (especially considering the Rodinal development). Seems to fulfill the manufacturers claims for the dual emulsion. Nice clear base made scanning easy. I suspect I may get better results exposing for ISO 200 rather than 400. Am planning to try this next time around. Very pleased and ready to get some more!

This film is the only professional quality film I ever shoot in 120 format. It is consistent and delivers a nice range of tonal qualities for rich black and white images. I find it a pleasure to work with the 100 ISO in the darkroom, as it lends richer grays to all levels of contrast when working on multi-grain printing papers.

Since Plus-X was discontinued this has been my favourite film for black and white for 35mm and 120 format. So when I started into large format this was the logical choice to begin with, and it did not disappoint. Moderately fast, moderate contrast and fine grain.

I have been using Lomo Metropolis for over a year, mostly 120 format. It's a wonderful trip into the muted colors of nature and urban landscape. I love it-for a creative spin, this is great. Tweak it for a truly antique look, or add saturation for more vibrance. I shoot at iso 200. It has a bit of a magenta cast which for me is part of the charm. Here are two images, 6x9 back on a view camera and Hasselblad 500 6x6.
