120Hz Native Refresh Rate Tv
JMaC1775 | 2024-08-05 02:22:37 |
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best TV I've ever owned. In 2019 I upgraded to 4k, Prior was a top of line Samsung 55' 1080p with 120hz. When I did the upgrade to 4k (Samsung un65na6900 or something like that) I was misled by the 120 motion vs actual 120hz refresh rate and really didn't know much about 4k. The TV was good but watching sports wasn't because of refresh rate. Now to this TV, wow, the tv is EXCELLENT. I upgraded for my PS5 and out the box its impressive. I used XBox1s to calibrate it even better. I love it, the sound is excellent too. By far best Tv I've owned. I've read reviews about the black level but I haven't seen it. Now if PS5 will update for the VRR and HDMI 2.1 I'll be set. 5 |

I bought this cable to take advantage of the 120hz monitor refresh rate. HDMI only goes to 60hz. 5 |

I specifically got this to take full advantage of my Xbox Series X. The 120hz refresh rate combined with 4K resolution is absolutely stunning. I know the PC players don't really care about HDMI 2.1 but for those of us who have next gen consoles, this is fantastic. Colors are amazing, HDR pops even though it's only HDR 600. Tons of customizations for you to dial it all in. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase. I waited for what seems like forever, and was lucky enough to catch the first wave! 5 |

Probably can't find a better quality TV for the price. According to Samsung, MotionRate 60 is a true, native 60Hz refresh rate, unlike their MotionRate 120 and 240, which are native 60Hz and 120Hz before processing. I tend not to use these settings anyway, so a true 60Hz is actually pretty decent, considering most 120Hz Tvs are actually 60Hz anyway. The smoothing functions, to me, tend to be a little distracting anyway. So for the money, it's a very respectable TV. Of course it doesn't compare to the newest 4k or 8k TVs but that's not what you're looking for when you buy a $250 TV. 5 |

If you want a giant TV that’s affordable, this is the one. I was shocked that the refresh rate was 120 at this price. Can’t recommend it enough. 5 |

Best non-OLED TV on the market, in my opinion. The refresh rate is great for gaming. 5 |

Pro - While the refresh rate and natural blacks are somewhat lacking, for the price, this TV offer excellent bang for the buck. Con - Remote is somewhat cluttered. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was initially skeptical of a TV with a matte, anti-glare finish but this new Samsung S95 display has proved me wrong. The Living Room where this TV is installed gets a lot of natural sunlight which causes issues with glare and reflections. The color quality and resolution while also reducing light glare is seriously impressive and a great technological improvement. The built in OS is fluid and responsive. It includes a wide range of popular apps and services and the inclusion of built in AirPlay is a great feature! The TV is bright and HDR content looks great. Black's are inky black and colors really pop. The high refresh rate also works great for video games and high refresh rate content. The controller is small and easily to use in one hand. It also has built in re-charging like a calculator. The TV was well packaged and easy to assemble. All in all a great TV and a worthy flagship TV. 5 |

I bought this tv after researching multiple it had the best/highest refresh rate, and processing. What's the point of a big TV with a low refresh rate. Down side is the app layout, it's not bad took a little getting use to. But it won't stay on home if you let it sit on home, it either opens the last app used or switches to HDMI output. 5 |
