120Hz Tv As Computer Monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really excellent smaller Samsung TV, and can be used both as a regular TV or a computer monitor. The unboxing and set up took less than 5 minutes from beginning to end. I plugged it in, connected it to WiFi, downloaded a software update, and downloaded all my streaming apps like Netflix and HBO Max. The Samsung TV has a very high quality picture and sound at 4K, plus for pictures, videos, movies, or tv shows that are not originally at 4K the TV automatically converts the picture quality up to 4K, which is awesome ! No issues at all so far with either sound or video, everything works really really well and it's very high quality for a smaller tv. I would recommend this 100% to anyone who doesn't really need a huge living room tv, or for anyone who needs a better computer monitor. 100% excellence from Samsung !

I bought this cable to take advantage of the 120hz monitor refresh rate. HDMI only goes to 60hz.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great tv for gaming if you're not looking in the market for a 120Hz tv.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are HUGE fans of 120Hz displays. Sadly, the cost of legitimate TVs w/120Hz are too high for most, and unfortunately quite a few TVs will claim to "scale up"...but fall short. The QLED capability of our new 75 inch Q60D gives us AMAZINGLY similar experience to a 120Hz screen! While I'll admit it took me a bit to figure out out to optimze the settings to achieve this, the resuls are worth it. And the Filmmaker mode is truly remarkable. This may be considered the "entry level" for the Q-series, but I can't stress enough how much value there is in terms of features and sheer viewing pleasure. I had seen some reviews remarking that the viewing angles on this screen weren't as good as others, but we have had zero issues with that in our livingroom setup. Clear, bright and sharp. Now, let's talk about the Q-Symphony feature...fantastic sound that is remarkably easy to setup if you have a compatible soundbar. We went with the Q600C and optional rear speakers. Because of the way the TV integrates, we're getting movie theater sound that also has VERY clear dialogue in the midst of a thorough surround-sound experience. I found myself really surprised at how realistic the sound distribution was with what was showing on the TV. Now, to be fair, are the built-in speakers to the Q60D good? Not so much by themselves--you simply can't have a TV this thin and have any sort of low frequency response. So, I strongly encourage getting a Samsung soundbar w/sub-woofer as a minimum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are one of those people that got use to having 120hz oled on your phone, tablet, and laptop; then the next step is your external monitor. It definitely is easier on the eyes than my old lcd monitor. It really does allow me to work for a long time with my reading glasses on. My only recommended improvement would be usb c thunderbolt capability and a quick way to adjust the screen brightness. Otherwise it would be a perfect computer monitor.

Pretty good for console (PS5), It runs at 120hz and 1440p and colors look pretty solid after messing around with the settings a bit. The only loss about this monitor is that it doesn’t come with height adjustment and speakers. But for me personally i doesn’t really bother me. So if your looking for monitor for console this is a great choice! Bnh also did great with the shipping.

Have purchased and tried dozens of screens for the office, from all kinds of brands. This, hands down, is the best 4K IPS panel I've seen. 27 keeps the pixel density pretty high (though not as high as the 5k 27 Apple Studio retina displays, but those are limited to 60hz, which now feel laggy in comparison). The upside is the refresh rate. 144hz (adjustable to 120hz too via MacOS settings), brings it into line with Apple's Pro Motion display on the Macbook Pro M-series (120hz). It makes a huge difference in the smoothness of the user interface. Everything feels very liquid and fast. Screen has a nice understated design, unlike most 4k 144hz+ monitors that seems to be targeting gamers. Has thin bezels (if that's your thing). 100w USB-C power and USB hub is good. Lots of ports supported (HDMI, Displayport, USB-B, USB-C). No compatibility issues with the Mac, true plug and play. One quirk I've noticed (though most non-Apple monitors do this), is that sometimes the monitor doesn't automatically wake when the Mac is put to sleep, so you have to press the monitor's power button to turn it back on. Not a big deal, just something to note. I got the Gorilla Glass option, definitely helps reduce reflections while keeping the sharp glossy colors, again making it much closer in feel and color appearance to the Macbook's Pro motion display. Color tones out of the box are very good, didn't need to manually calibrate a custom color profile. Overall very happy with this monitor. Bought through BHPhoto as I heard the Dough (formerly Eve) company used to have a hit-or-miss reputation so if I need to return the unit, BHPhoto is easier to deal with. Product is great so far, very pleased with it.

I hooked it up to my Xbox X. You have to set the Xbox up for 120hz and 4k in the settings. I also messed with the brightness and contrast setting and got it how I want. Looks great. Fortnite has a 120hz option also. So if you play a game at 120hz, make sure the game is set up that way. I thought it made a difference once I did that. I like the aim assist in the monitor. It helps having that crosshair. It’s in the monitor game settings. I went from a non-4k 70 inch tv to this and I am happy I did it. I think it was worth the investment.

I love this monitor. I only wish I could afford two of them. I also wish the video card in my laptop NVidia AX4000 could drive at 120hz like my M2 MB Pro. I also use the built in KVM which is awesome too.
