12K Blackmagic Camera

Clear on my blackmagic 12k

I buy these and the little black one from another company to use with the Blackmagic Ursa mini 12k video camera. This one just got approved, though I've been using these for many years, now. They are small, thin and I really love them and use them a ton for regular work or when transferring between computers. This Pro version is even better than the lower grade and I've never had a problem with corruption on these and buy one any you'll see ..how they will become a favorite.

I was looking for a rolling backpack to carry Blackmagic URSA 12K with lenses. I went to B&H with my camera to try different brands. I could fit the camera without removing a top handle only to this backpack. Also it fits 2 DZOFilm zoom lenses 20-55 and 50-125 and Tokina 11-20mm Cine lens + Batteries, and audio recorder. Looking forward to actually test it out going to the Manhattan and film.

Purchased this to use with the Blackmagic 12K camera. It is relatively easy to install (be careful when removing the battery block), and the mounting bracket is sturdy and well made. The most critical point to remember is that the Recorder is entirely dependent on the SSD utilized. You can not just stick any SSD into the Recorder and expect it to record high-bandwidth 12K Blackmagic RAW files. Currently we are using the Samsung 983 DCT U.2 MZ-QLB1T9NE 1.92TB SSD - it has the speed necessary to keep up with 12K data. Overall the URSA Mini Recorder is a great accessory for the 12K camera, it is much better (and more economical) than having to shell out for C-Fast cards.

Bought two of these for our Blackmagic Design Ursa Mini 12K cameras. They worked great. VERY sturdy and well made. Very fast transfer speeds. They get a little warm when under heavy load but all drives do so this can't be counted against them. If you need crazy speed (3400MB/s) this is the drive for you.

I needed something big and beefy for my BlackMagic Ursa Pro 12K, it draws around 40-50 watts, my Monitor another 20-25, my wireless motors another 5-8 watts, and my wireless video system another 5-6 watts. So my power demand is high - these gave me a nice solid 4-4.5 hours each, so 2 are all I need most days. The have a few extra added benefits too - the Ursa has its SDI ports on the right side of the V Mount, and most dtaps are on the upper right of batteries, but these had it on the lower left of the battery so I don't have to finger with it to fit. Also the digital display gives a perfect readout of power draw, and time remaining, it also tells you how long it takes to recharge. They are just really great in a lot of ways.

It does the job with my Blackmagic. I would not use any third party in my camera.
