I was looking for a case to carry and keep dry expensive lithium battery on an electric scooter, none of the other manufacturers have the size or the strenght needed for my project. HPRC have the best hard case i ever came across so far. and as a plus, the groove on the front and back have made my custom rack construction very easy. I use a mobility scooter due to disability. This combo tripod/monopod is ideal. The monopod works well for action photos from scooter. Long exposure, time lapse etc work well with tripod positioned next to scooter. The ball head is a plus. I now have all I need in one compact package as opposed to two or four counting ball heads.
