Great Unit, I suggest changing the battery to Dakota Lithium 12V 10Ah. Then the Camera works for a minimum of 10 hours. B&H Thank you very much for the quick shipment !!!!!!!!!

We run 6 of these, we do seal them up with silicone and have never had an issue. Run 12v battery packs to keep them running on every detection to catch trespassing. We have caught trespassers not.matter where we are.

Having the lithium battery inside the NTG4+ is perfect for anyone trying to do run an gun filming with a DSLR. I film on a Sony A7s and recording audio on the go can be such a hassle with external recorders, but so far I have had beautifully clean audio directly into my camera. If I am alone I typically mounting the mic to the top of my camera, or if I have a friend, I will boom the mic, and I have had great signal to noise ratio, and I have been pleasantly surprised with the audio rejection from the sides of the microphone.

By providing +7.4V and +12V, the IndiPRO battery can supply external power to many types of cameras (my camera and connector details below). It also has a +5V USB power port that could power my cell phone for over a month, and a trail camera for more than a year. Recharge time is several hours (from zero to four LEDs lit). The cable has a BMPCC4K power connector at one end and a male 5.5/2.5mm at the other end. The packaging bag for this cable is labeled TA-T01-DC-PC BMPCC4K. Connectors at both ends fit properly snugly. I also bought a dummy battery to run my Canon SL3 (Juicebox LP-E17 Style Power Coupler Dummy Battery for Canon Cameras). The +7.4V battery connector plug and socket are more like 5.5/2.0 mm -- and for this reason, the dummy battery won't plug into the +12V connector socket -- so no worries about frying my SL3. The IndiPRO battery is small and lightweight. It could be attached to a camera cage. I usually bungee-cord wrap the battery to a tripod leg. I am very happy with this battery and highly recommend it.

This is a very nice upgrade form the original battery pack. The charge time is slower than the lithium battery.

This little recorder is smaller than you think. SO far, I love it. Lithium battery lasting a long time with continuous use even with phantom power enabled.

Works fine & the lithium battery should last a long time. What I found out about my 5100 is that the shutter release does not stay in remote mode for more than a minute.

The battery is for an older calculator. Back of the calculator indicated a different battery. After opening the calculator took the old battery out and the new one from B&H in it's place. Simple fix.
