I use these SD cards for my action camera, portable music player and my Raspberry Pi. Pictures, video, and music are common uses, but don't forget devices such as the Pi which will run much faster and reliably with a quality microSD card instead of any old card. Shipping was fast and on-time. 5 |

I'm using this is a cabinet that contains a router, NAS, and raspberry pi. Those devices are plugged into the battery backup side. The surge only outlets are being used for a variety of usb chargers (phones, tablets, etc). I was able to get everything plugged in, but I do wish the outlets were spaced just a little farther apart given the size of some transformers. It's definitely a hefty unit. Using it as a music / video server. Had a Raspberry PI based system, upgraded to this. Wow. Do it. Takes up the same side-to-side space that the Pi did if you include all the cables coming out every which way of the Pi. The NUC is much neater. It looks like it belongs in the entertainment center. Stable and capable for this purpose. One suggestion is to get the tall one (as I did) rather than the small one. The ability to add much cheaper 2.5 SATA storage down the road is worth it. 5 |
