12Vdc Rechargable Battery

enough light to last for the night... im hoping the rechargable  battery can last for the whole year

It is what it is, a charger. Nice that it comes with 12vdc car adapter also. Battery fits well, just pay attention the first few times you use it. It's not the greatest battery alignment system but it works well once you charged a couple batteries and get the feel for it. The adapter plate is removable from the charger base. Maybe you can find other plates to fit different batteries types (mixed camera users) and not need to pack/manage two charging systems. Over-all it's a no brainer for NEX users that have the models with built-in chargers. Can even use it to charge you usb type phone while in the car.

First of all you can use Sony NPF batteries to power this light. You need a NPF battery plate with 12vdc out. It runs about 3 hours in full power. Rechargeable AA batteries also work great but half the light power (runs about an hour and 20min). It is a perfect size and weight fresnel light. You can shape the light with barn doors if it is used at 50 to 75 degree. It doesn’t get hot so you can run it all day.

Compact and simple. I like having battery chargers everywhere. This charger is reasonable in price. I bought one to try and will be ordering another one. The 12VDC capability is a bonus.

One of the most strong light . With extra rechargable battery. And can use it , like power bank 4000 mAh for cellphone. Looks like xp11r model. They are my good helper .

I got this 2 rechargable battery with charger set for my Sekonic L-758DR meter. I probably never have to buy a battery for it again, at least not for a very long time. It is affordable and environmentally friendly.

Hands down with out a doubt the greatest head lamps on the market. The rechargable battery life is absolutely outstanding. I had to buy my self a second one and one for my family members.
