I have used an Original Domke bag for over 30 years....This one is just as good. It is made very well with the best of materials. The quality of construction is as good as the very original bag that I own. I use the bag to carry my D 7000 and some very basic items. I wanted a small lite bag to carry on a plane when traveling to various vacation or business destinations and this bag works very well for this purpose. The bag is quite small and only fits the D 7000 with the the 18-200 attached. If you want a bag that has room for a lot of your needed equipment and supplies, then this is not the bag fo you. You should purchase one of the larger Domke bags. 5 |

I'm using this for a Velbon DV-7000. It is too big for the tripod, but I take up the extra space with towels stuffed inside at either end. The case is very well-padded; roughly a 1/4 thick padding all around and the inclusion of both a shoulder strap and hand carry handles is great. I keep pens and business cards in the outside pocket...very handy. The material is thick nylon which feels and looks like it will last a long time. I'd like to see a double-zipper on it so you could open it from either end, as well as maybe some straps inside to hold your tripod still. But that's really the only nitpicks I have with it...not really faults but would be nice to haves. If you have a tripod big enough to fit inside (or two smaller ones!), get it. 5 |
