I've been using a 4k screen for a couple of years, but it was a Samsung TV as I wanted a larger screen and nothing in the monitor space yet existed. It was a good experience, I didn't have any issues - regardless of what people say about using TVs as monitors. However, once I noticed that OLED monitors were coming around, I considered going back. I wasn't crazy about dealing with burn-in and the odd ways manufactures try to prevent it. Instead, I wanted to see what Samsung was up to in the gaming monitor space. I came across this and was immediately drawn in because of the high fresh rate and it being 4k. I didn't consider the G8 because I didn't think the even higher refresh rate warranted the extra cost. Once I got the G7 connected, it was like playing games for the first time. Cyberpunk looked incredibly better than my 4k TV, colors popped and I could see details that I couldn't previously. The curvature is a bit odd at first, especially in Windows, but for gaming, I really like it. The high refresh rate was a new experience as well - I hadn't had anything higher than 60Hz, so again it was a new experience. This makes a big different not only in gaming, but using Windows - everything is so smooth. The height adjustment was another helpful feature as I needed it to be in a specific place. Without it, I would have had to use a box or something else unsightly. I'm not an RGB person, but found that I liked messing with the colors and do leave a solid color on most of the time. My only complaint, is the buttons to control the settings. I have some business monitors for work that are also Samsung and they use the same buttons. It's not my favorite and it feels a bit cheap. For an $1100 monitor, I'd expect a bit more, but it's not something I use often. I feel the monitor is on the expensive side, but it is worth it if you have the machine to push high end graphics to it.

I have used the ASUS ROG STRIX 32 4K HDR 160 Hz Gaming Monitor for over three months now and I still love it the way I did day one. This ASUS monitor replaced a low-end Samsung 27 monitor that I have had for a long time. Before the Samsung monitor, I had one of the first Gateway 1080P 27 monitors (which was a great gaming monitor in its day). I now wanted a new monitor to replace my Samsung due to my recent computer upgrade (which will easily go to 4K resolution with my new 4070TI Nvidia video card) during the Christmas holidays. I saw the ASUS (and I am a big ASUS fan) here on B&H, researched a little, and decided to pull the trigger on the purchase. I was not disappointed at all, even though the price was a little steeper than what I was looking to spend. This ASUS monitor is very fast, and the colors are vibrant and true. Its stand is one of the best that I have seen and owned. The on-screen menu is very informative with the availability of a few tweaks and features not found on other monitors in this class. If you are into digital creation, this should be one of the monitors for you to consider. Lastly, with an industry leading 2-year warranty from ASUS (register it at ASUS to be sure you are in the system), you can't go wrong if you are in the market looking for a higher quality 32 4K monitor. You can buy the latest PC build, but don't hesitate to upgrade what matters most, the screen on which you work/play. I would definitely buy another one of these ... if I only had room on my desk. Maybe a desk upgrade is in my future ...

This is great! I have two 1440p monitors running at 144hz off my 2019 16 MBP. Both are plugged into the two USB-C/Thunderbolt ports on the right side of my MacBook Pro.

I got rid of my bulky 1080ti desktop tower, and replaced it with a gaming laptop. I still wanted a nice screen(I had 1440p 144hz, but downgraded to 1080p 144hz), so I wanted a hassle free way of connecting my laptop and get all the accessories with just one cable. This is perfect for my needs. The listing doesn't mention high refresh rate monitors, but it is compatible. I tried two different monitors(1440p and 1080p, both GSYNC and 144hz), works perfectly. The only thing this doesn't do is charge my gaming laptop(understandably). It does charge lower power hogging machines like MBP/MBA, but I don't currently have a Mac with TB3. So instead of one cable, I have to plug in a TB3 and Power cable to my laptop to make it a Desktop, but it's still VERY GOOD compared to what I had to plug in before.

I've been ordering these monitors for work, every time a new hire starts, and they've been awesome so far. The sharpness of 1440p is perfect for employees or people who aren't content creators and just want sharper text or to be able to fit more on the screen. I would normally choose 4K but it's just not necessary for most people and 1440p (2K or QHD) is the sweet spot for performance and quality. I love the sleek black design and they're super quick to set up and get running. They come with both HDMI and DisplayPort cables which is nice to have the option. Overall this is a fantastic monitor and if you can find it on sale, it's even better.

Bought two monitors, one for me and another for my wife. I went from 32 (1440p as well) to 27, but these are 165Hz. Some people might say they can't tell the difference between 144Hz and 165Hz, I actually can and it's very impressive how responsive it is. Colors seem too bright in my opinion, but it can be fixed from the settings. It might not have Adobe RGB but that's why I can use the 32 for. Giving 5-stars because if you just want it for gaming and/or watching videos is not bad at all.

I bought 2 of these to use as peripheral monitors to my central 1440p screen at work. The screen and color quality is fantastic. I wish I hadn't already bought my central 1440p monitor (an Acer non-curved monitor, which I was previously extremely happy with) so that I could use more of these Gigabyte monitors instead. I was so happy with these that I bought 2 more for my home office setup as well. Additionally we replaced a newer LG monitor used by my brother-in-law with this and he was stunned by the improvement in the visual quality. It is nice to have this resolution (3440x1440), as that allows two full size browser or document windows side by side. Using 3 monitors at this resolution gives me 6 work spaces at one time. I can't say enough about the productive capability of these screens, which is mostly what I use them for. For those working spreadsheets, you can fit a lot of cells in the X-axis on these displays. However, gaming graphics also look fantastic. Colors are better than equivalent LG or Acer monitors. The curved screen fixes my difficulty seeing the very lateral edges of the three monitor setup, but if used as a main monitor the curve is not distracting, disorienting, or obstructive. The curve is helpful when working one single large document or spreadsheet across the entire resolution. This will be my go to monitor for future projects/computer setups, and B&H's shipping/service have been great for purchasing these. The Gigabyte monitors are the flanking monitors in the picture.

Allows me to have dual monitors @1440p as well as keyboard and mouse, external hard drives, gigabit Ethernet and optical audio to amplifier. Great way to turn my portable into a workstation!
