Worked great for my sigma 150-600 to a balance on my wimberley gimbal. Note that the balance changes when you extend or retract focal length. No way around this. 5 |

Note I am far from a professional, but here's my 2 cents. It has just about all you could want for a first USB interface, dual input, pretty high gain for the price, and monitoring with a screen to show levels. It's not enough for an SM7B without some boost in post or elsewhere. The direct monitoring picked up a lot that was not present with the windows listen to this device selected. Direct monitoring picking up more mouth noise, and windows being more bass heavy and generally what I would want to hear(almost no extra saliva-y mouth noises). The biggest nitpick I've heard of from multiple sources are the gain knobs which aren't that loose or bad, you'd have to be quite rough with your equipment in my opinion for this to cause issues. Generally I would say the build quality feels pretty solid. 5 |

Small note for Windows users: If you plug this in without filling all the drive slots, it will reserve up to 5 drive letters anyway; I believe this behavior is to accommodate hot-swapping. Other than that, nothing to complain about. Love the dual fans. 5 |

Got 6 of these drives. They run cool and quiet. if using windows, just note that 20TB (Terabytes) is 18.189TiB (Tebibytes) in windows. Drives are quoted by manufacturers in decimal units. so in reality my RAID setup is much smaller than I was planning for. 5 |
