If there was any doubt about whether I like this monitor, it should be dispelled by the fact that this is the third Samsung UR59C monitor I've purchased. I'm using them on three computers. I use them for programming, electronic design (schematic capture and PCB layout), 3D modeling, as well as the usual office applications, email, etc. A curved monitor does take a little bit of getting used to for CAD and 3D modeling. 5 |

I absolutely love this monitor! I upgraded from a very old acer 1680x1050 20" monitor and man am I glad I did. Love the Freesync integration, the build is beautiful, screen looks amazing. The only things I could ask for are a height adjustable stand (though I'm very happy it is vesa compatible) and a higher refresh rate. I'm also not a big fan of the joystick menu navigation as I would prefer dedicated buttons. To me these are all very small things though and I'm so happy with the product I'll soon be purchasing 2 more and setting up a curved surround setup WOOT WOOT! 5 |

The difference between 60Hz and 144Hz is staggering and I can't recommend this monitor enough for anyone who wants to get a better monitor for gaming. 5 |

First be sure to get the IOGEAR DisplayPort 1.4 Male Cable to get 60hz refresh rate. A standard HDMI will only give you 30hz and the monitor will feel sluggish and pixelated. Second, wow, what a bargain. I bought this monitor for photo editing and I'm blown away with the clarity, color, and vibrancy. Albeit, it was a big upgrade from my 10 year old monitors, but I really couldn't ask for anything better. I even played a few games that ran smooth as butter. I might even buy a second one. 5 |
