17 Inch Portable Monitor Touchscreen

After purchasing several new Dell Precision workstations and 27 inch touchscreen monitors, we found that we couldn't there was no way to connect the two - the Precision did not accept HDMI and the monitor was not a DisplayPort monitor. Something like this shouldn't be complicated nor expensive and this adapter from IOGear is neither. Additionally the lot of adapters arrived the next day to save our butts.

It was about time to update my 5-year old 15-inch laptop and was looking for PC with good computing power but with a bigger screen as sometimes I tend multitask a lot. I found this 17-inch LG laptop with the specifications I needed but was hesitant as I didn’t know how portable a 17- inch laptop would be. When I received it I realized this is way more portable than my previous machine. It is way lighter with a better screen. I immediately opened all the 15 tabs I am used to without any performance issues. Speakers are good but could be slight better. In general. I am pretty happy with my purchase. I was able to find a laptop with quite big screen and numeric keyboard without compromising on portability as the weight is perfect while traveling. Best touchscreen monitor I have bought!

I waited 25 years for this monitor. I was running three - 17 inch flat screens then decided to upgrade to a 32 inch primary monitor using one of my 17 inch screens as a control. This was a game-changer. I can divide the 32 into two screens so I still have three monitors worth of real estate in front on me. However, when I watch a movie, or view photographs, I use the 32 inch LG. It's simply wonderful.

I own 3 of these for a portable triple monitor setup. I'm tired of seeing only 1080p or 4K 15.6 inch monitors. 1080p isn't often enough. 4K is a little overkill and you might as well change the resolution on your desktop to 2.5K. Well, this is a native 2.5K display. Oh and it's 16:10 aspect ratio so it's actually 2560x1600. The extra height is glorious for working in Davinci Resolve, Blender, and any other program. It also has full size HDMI which is very rare for quality portable monitors. Don't buy the garbage you see floating around on Amazon when it comes to portable monitors. Buy the ASUS. ViewSonic also has some quality options. I like ViewSonic's 1080p OLED, the physical design is better but it's micro HDMI and well ... it could have been 2.5K. Overall ... as of 2024 this is literally the best portable IPS OLED monitor that's affordable you can buy. I used my xRite color calibration tool to calibrate each monitor to 400 nits and Rec709. You can confidently color grade on these. They have minimal back light bleed. ASUS has been releasing 2.5K 15.6 inch 16:10 (same resolution) OLED panels in some of their latest laptops, so we might see a new Zenscreen like this in 2025 as an OLED panel. However, you can't go wrong with a tried and true IPS panel. These are great. Go for it!

I bought this to hold a 14x5 inch touchscreen display. I wasn't sure it would be steady enough when touching the left and right edges of the screen, but there was no problem. It is extremely solid, looks great and I will probably be buying more in the future.

It fits. It supports my 17" monitor fine.

I tried three different USB-C cables before trying this one - this is the one that finally worked to extend a touchscreen monitor from my Mac Mini.

It could held my 49 inch monitor with ease.
