17 Inch Portable Usb Monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m usually get used to good laptop specifications with long term usability at the expense of carrying some extra weight everyday. It was about time to update my 5-year old 15-inch laptop and was looking for PC with good computing power but with a bigger screen as sometimes I tend multitask a lot. I found this 17-inch LG laptop with the specifications I needed but was hesitant as I didn’t know how portable a 17- inch laptop would be. When I received it I realized this is way more portable than my previous machine. It is way lighter with a better screen. I immediately opened all the 15 tabs I am used to without any performance issues. Speakers are good but could be slight better. In general. I am pretty happy with my purchase. I was able to find a laptop with quite big screen and numeric keyboard without compromising on portability as the weight is perfect while traveling. I waited 25 years for this monitor. I was running three - 17 inch flat screens then decided to upgrade to a 32 inch primary monitor using one of my 17 inch screens as a control. This was a game-changer. I can divide the 32 into two screens so I still have three monitors worth of real estate in front on me. However, when I watch a movie, or view photographs, I use the 32 inch LG. It's simply wonderful.

This case is just what I needed.  I like the fact that on each side of the interior there are useful features: on the left side there is a mesh opening with elastic band (useful, for example, for storing a short USB cable) and on the right side there is an elastic band by itself (perfect for holding the portable hard drive itself).  The case is surprisingly firm and is constructed of a corrugated material that, to my mind, will absorb impacts very well.  And it looks great. I bought three of these for portable 2.5 inch 1TB HDDs; they fit perfectly in this case, as does a slimline Tripp-Lite drive conversion kit (which houses a bare 2.5 inch drive that creates a portable USB HDD).   Note: the case is too large for a modern portable SSD like the (incredible) Samsung T5 external 2 terabyte drive I recently bought; no surprise, though, as thats not what this case is designed for.  The T5 needs a substantially smaller case than this one.

I own 3 of these for a portable triple monitor setup. I'm tired of seeing only 1080p or 4K 15.6 inch monitors. 1080p isn't often enough. 4K is a little overkill and you might as well change the resolution on your desktop to 2.5K. Well, this is a native 2.5K display. Oh and it's 16:10 aspect ratio so it's actually 2560x1600. The extra height is glorious for working in Davinci Resolve, Blender, and any other program. It also has full size HDMI which is very rare for quality portable monitors. Don't buy the garbage you see floating around on Amazon when it comes to portable monitors. Buy the ASUS. ViewSonic also has some quality options. I like ViewSonic's 1080p OLED, the physical design is better but it's micro HDMI and well ... it could have been 2.5K. Overall ... as of 2024 this is literally the best portable IPS OLED monitor that's affordable you can buy. I used my xRite color calibration tool to calibrate each monitor to 400 nits and Rec709. You can confidently color grade on these. They have minimal back light bleed. ASUS has been releasing 2.5K 15.6 inch 16:10 (same resolution) OLED panels in some of their latest laptops, so we might see a new Zenscreen like this in 2025 as an OLED panel. However, you can't go wrong with a tried and true IPS panel. These are great. Go for it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently started using the ThinkVision 15.6-inch Portable Monitor - M15, and it’s been a game-changer for working on the go. This slim and lightweight monitor is incredibly easy to carry, and setting it up is a breeze. The 15.6-inch display provides sharp and vibrant visuals, making it perfect for extending my workspace or even for presentations. It connects seamlessly via USB-C, which also powers the monitor, so there’s no need for extra cables. Overall, it’s a great portable monitor that offers convenience and quality.

With me from the dock supports my 30-inch monitor, my 26-in monitor, and my laptop monitor. It has two DisplayPort connectors as well as the usual array of USB ports. I will have to add a USB hub to accommodate an excessive amount of external drives. The dock has all the power that I could want at the moment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LG's new UltraFine 4K HDR monitor is everything I wanted in a new monitor. The 10-bit VA 32 inch panel with HDR is very vivid and bright. The colors really pop out at you. LG has been the industry leader when it comes to monitors and this one does not disappoint. This monitor is perfect for work and play. My work laptop uses USB-C display alt to pass video and charging capabilities. This new monitor is able to deliver 65 watts of power delivery through its USB-C port. Having one cable for charging and video saves space and allows for good cable management. The monitor has pretty good speakers as well. They give off an ample amount of volume for work and play. Now lets talk about the gaming features. HDMI 2.1 and 144hz at 4k is a game changer. I have the latest gaming consoles and have my gaming PC connected. Lets just say that I notice a difference when playing the latest AAA titles. Having Freesync Premium is also a must have for today's monitors, so screen tearing is minimal. The overall 32 inch size is a perfect size for a 4k monitor. LG does not disappoint. Having the ability to tilt and adjust the height adds a feature that most monitors in its class don't allow. The USB-C input is a must have. This is a must buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had this monitor for a short time, but so far it is met all my expectations. I was looking for a new monitor upgrade to support 1440p gaming and after hours of research including reading and watching reviews, this model repeatedly emerged as a top contender. I certainly could have went with it's smaller (and decidedly excellent) 27-inch cousin, but for the price I treated myself to the 32-inch. The cost was a bit of an extravagance, yes, but not unreasonably so. The build quality is high, and setup was easy and quick, with HDMI, DisplayPort, power cable and the monitor-to-computer USB cable all included and saving me that extra bit of shopping or scrounging. I did anticipate that I would have to tinker with the settings for the best viewing experience, but to my surprise this was not so. Whether this was due to factory defaults or an enterprising technician somewhere along the way, I do not know, but it was appreciated. All in all, the monitor has done exactly what I have needed it to do. As stated, setup was a breeze, largely in part to the versatility of viewing angle, larger screen-size and height adjustment. The rotating feature is also neat, though I currently do not use it, but it is nice to have the option should I ever need it . While others may disagree, the unit really does not have a huge footprint. The legs are well-placed and have a notably degree of clearance for cables and cord if needed, while providing a very stable platform. This combined with convenient USB hub and "cable hook" — I cannot really call the latter "cable management" — allowed me to greatly improve my space efficiency. I highly recommend this monitor for anyone looking for a solidly built, versatile gaming monitor that delivers excellence performance.

It fits. It supports my 17" monitor fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HP E14 G4 Portable Monitor is exactly what I was hoping for - a decent sized monitor that fits on top of my closed Envy laptop. It provides a useful second extended display for my Envy 27 display. The USB-C cable works perfectly with the USB-C connection from my laptop. The Portable Monitor is light in weight and the foldable stand holds the display at a nice angle. I highly recommend this product.
