This is a well designed and manufactured tripod foot. I was considering between Kirk and RRS and I went for Kirk because the knob design does not include a brass washer where it contacts the foot and happy with my choice. On the RSS LCF models, I find that the knob sometimes gets very tight and takes a lot of force to loosen and I blame the brass washer. CNC work is very good. Let's say it's at the same level as the best. Lever button which release the lock on the lens is well designed and locks with a satisfying click. You can't see it in the photo, but the button is shaped to stay flush with the foot profile, so you cannot see the button sticking out from the side. The only reservation I had was the plastic logo that sticks onto the foot. I would have preferred a laser engraved logo. My experience with these plastic logo is that it yellows out after years of use and may even drop out. But after mounting it on the lens, I don't notice it anymore.

You can't go wrong for this price. This little one-foot stool takes the pressure off my back, as I play. It brings the guitar up a bit, by lifting your right leg. Built to last. It folds up, so you can bring it to lessons, or wherever.

Having owned the 18-35mm f/1.8 for a good while I expected quite a bit. This would be it! They both have a very pro quality feel to them and the spectacular results are quite fine. This weighs in just a tad lighter than a Nikon 70-200 f/2.8. The 82mm front element delivers a lot of light. Being much longer focal length than the 18-35mm the size and heft of this makes sense. You'll want a lens foot for your Arca tripod head. It is a lot of weight to cantilever. The built in lens collar is exceptionally solid with 90 degree detents and a locking thumb screw to keep it solid. The lens foot you need is the Kirk KLP-210. You'll need to flip the end of the foot so the 30 degree edge contacts the lens base. The folks at Kirk helped me verify it and steered me to it and it came today and fits like a glove. You can get one here at B&H. It says it is for the Fuji 100-400. but it fits this one perfectly.

Amazingly solid from just 18 inches off the ground to its full 7 foot height. That height opens up a new range of creative possibilities. The action is smooth, positive, and fast. The carrying case protects it well and looks very professional. I've had several other tripods, including one three times the cost of this one, but this is my favorite, by far. It's a LOT of tripod for the money. I use it with the best head I've ever had by far, an FLM CB 58 FT2, which handles a medium format camera with a large lens, no problem. They make a terrific combination.

I bought this a month ago and it rattles my room (24 x 18 foot room). The lows are very low, you do not even hear them rather you feel the bass. Probably one of the best subwoofers I have had (have polk audio and custom setups in other rooms).

I have had these speakers for a couple months. We use them at out mountain cottage with 18 foot ceilings, and good acoustics. Perfect match for this setup.
