Watson Lithium-Ion battery packs are great. Lasts long in standby mode. Holds charge not in use for weeks. No problems here. I’ve owned them for years. 5 |

This lithium battery is very reliable. 5 |

The AA battery charger I had before only handled four batteries at a time and did not have a refresh or discharge capability. Realizing that rechargeable batteries need to be fully discharged periodically I wouldn't buy anything else but this product from now on. 5 |

The Watson NP-BX1 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack and Charger Kit is perfect as a second backup battery. The charger has an easy to see charge indicator light ! 5 |

Have two of these units and use them constantly. LCD screens on one of them have become somewhat dimmer (?), but otherwise unit continues to work as it should. Big improvement over the assorted 4-AA wall bricks I had before. I keep these nicely set on a corner of my camera table. Love to be able to see how much juice actually remains in the batteries, plus it helps to pinpoint which batteries are becoming unusable (in my experience, some batteries from the same batch will die off before others). Also, this little smart thing handles each battery independently, so it doesn't matter if you mix batteries with different remaining charge levels. I have many AAs for my Nikon Speedlights and battery grips, this takes the mystery out of knowing if they're properly charged before going out on assignment. Love the discharge / refresh feature, which I use often. I haven't needed to use the car charger yet, but it's great to have it included, it completes the kit nicely. Caveat: this is not an ultra-fast-emergency charger. Give it time to do its thing, specially if you plan to use the discharge-refresh cycle before charging. Plan ahead and you'll be fine. Consider also that faster chargers take a heavier toll on battery life-span. This is the best solution to charge AAs and AAAs I've had so far. Kudos to Watson (...and to B&H, as usual). 5 |

This is by far the best battery charger I've ever owned. But it has a few issues. First the good things. It charges 8 AA or AAA cells. In normal mode it takes 2 to 3 hours, but you can select turbo mode, and it charges in 1 hour. (But the documentation warns that turbo mode might shorten battery life.) It also has mode that evaluates and conditions batteries. It charges, discharges, and recharges the batteries. This takes the better part of day, but it really works, and it reports the mAh capacity. I had some old batteries that my old charger would claim to charge much faster that the others, but the they ran down much faster, too. Two conditioning cycles with this charger and they were working as expected. It runs on both 120 and 240 VAC. Now for the nit picks. The interface is weird and you had better keep the instructions right beside the charger. For example to enter the conditioning mode with multiple batteries you have to insert one battery, then within 5 seconds press the CONDITION button, then insert the remaining batteries. On the display there are numbers 1 to 8 for the battery slots. There is a triagle that appears below the number. They can blink if various combinations. How does one interpret that? Apparently if the number but not the triangle is blinking the battery is charging, if both are blinking it indicates a battery fault. But it take careful reading of the manual to figure this out. Other strange things are that you are supposed to plug the AC adapter into the charger first, then plug the AC adapter into the AC power. Why should that matter? You are advised to insert the batteries in left-to-right order. There is a backlight and you can have it on or off. But to do that you must press the CONDITION and TURBO buttons at the same time. But if you remove power, it forgets the setting. The unit contains a fan. It is not very noisy, but you will definitely notice it in a quite room. 5 |

Unfortunately, Fuji does not include a battery charger with their cameras. they use a connector to a computer as the mode of charging. So this item becomes a necessity. I like the design and the charging status seen easily on the device. 5 |

This battery charger is great. It charge up to 8 batteries. It tells you how much charge was needed for each battery. It has a mode that conditions batteries. When done it tells the amount of charge needed to recharge each battery from the discharged state. If this is way less than the rated capacity of the battery, it has probably lost charging capacity. If it is way more, the battery may be self-discharging. I've seen both cases. 5 |
