1967 Supro Bantam Guitar Amplifier

From time to time, I need the use the guitar input of my amplifier for a second microphone input - this gizmo enables me to do that withous issues.

I bought a pair of these to use with a guitar amp simulator. They sound great and allow for getting the amplifier and effects tone without having to crank up the volume to concert levels.

In 1969 I saw a solid-body electric guitar with a three-inch amplifier built into the face of the guitar. The tiny speaker was powered by a nine-volt battery inserted in the back of the instrument. Fantastic, I thought, why don't they make a suction-cup amp that sticks onto the face of the guitar? A zillion years later they did and it is fine.

Great mic for any kind of use. Vocals sound great as well as guitar and bass amplifier. I use this mic in my home studio and live performance.

Perfect for my Bantam 828, Tri-X is wonderful with 2 pulls for ISO 100 for this camera.

I found a bulk loader full of Ansco Super-Hypan, last made in 1967. After many development attempts and step-by-step improvements, I'm able to get usable, scannable, and darkroom printable (yes, really!) negatives. I'm use HC-110 at dilution B, and I add 45 drops (about 3mL) in my 400mL of developer. This works out to be 7.5mg/L of developer. Continuous agitation for 9 minutes is used to maximize activity in the highlights with the highly-restrained developer.

As someone who has been shooting and developing his own film since 1967 and then, because of a move, lost his darkroom, this Ilford film has been a Godsend. It enables me to continue shooting in B&W and use my trusty old camera. I get it developed at the local ...- and scanned, too, so I have the image in my computer, as well. And the results are, to my eye, superior to what's possible with a digital camera - rich blacks, sharp edges, great tonal quality. And as soon as I resurrect my darkroom, I will have some great negs to print.
