1970S Peavey Classic Tweed Guitar Amplifier

I installed two Audio-Technica Pro 45 Cardioid Hanging Microphones in a church to pick up and reinforce sound in the space. Of course, I thought I could use existing cable to run the signal back to the mixer/amplifier...and that was a big mistake. I could not understand why the mics were generating lots of feedback and assumed that the room was somehow at fault (bad room syndrom). I even bought a Peavey Feedback Ferret in an attempt to fix the problem. Then I got the idea to run new Audio-Technica cable to the mixer/amplifier. Well now I have a Peavey Feedback Ferret that I apparently didn't need in the first place. The new cable solved the problem I was having with the mics. Amazing the difference that great cable can make to an installation. If you get new gear, dump the old cable and get new. The new cable is supple, easy to install and absolutely quiet. From time to time, I need the use the guitar input of my amplifier for a second microphone input - this gizmo enables me to do that withous issues.

I bought a pair of these to use with a guitar amp simulator. They sound great and allow for getting the amplifier and effects tone without having to crank up the volume to concert levels.

In 1969 I saw a solid-body electric guitar with a three-inch amplifier built into the face of the guitar. The tiny speaker was powered by a nine-volt battery inserted in the back of the instrument. Fantastic, I thought, why don't they make a suction-cup amp that sticks onto the face of the guitar? A zillion years later they did and it is fine.

Great mic for any kind of use. Vocals sound great as well as guitar and bass amplifier. I use this mic in my home studio and live performance.

The sound is excellent and it looks amazing with this retro design and guitar amplifier style! 20+ hours of battery charge life it`s truth, not joke!

Solid, easy to use. Packs compactly. I've seen reviews on other sites where folk were trying to tighten the nuts/bolts... this isn't necessary. Lay the stand flat on the ground, and then lift one of the amp-support sections, rotating it about 3/4 of the way over. Repeat the opposite with the 2nd amp-support section. There are metal tabs which will hold everything securely. Great product at a reasonable price. FYI same is true for both the RS6000 (I use with a Tweed Pro 5E5) or the RS4000 (Blackface Princeton, Tweed Deluxe 5E5, or Vibrochamp)
