I'm an old throw-back to 1980's music....massive speakers and big hair! The last serious "system" I bought was in 1988 as a teenager. So when my kids informed me there was a better way for an "old guy" to listen to his favorite music, I was skeptical. Vintage metal should be played on equipment from that time.....right? I purchased a single Play 5 and easily downloaded the SONOS app., then learned what Spotify was. WOW! That single modest-looking speaker sounded better than both my tower speakers hauled home in the back of my Trans Am 30 years ago. Deep, powerful.....Loud! I just had to buy a second Play 5 and now I'm air-guitaring to whatever I want to hear with just a tap of my finger. Out with the the old....in with SONOS! Might be time to grow the mullet back.... 5 |
