APC Power Saving Back-UPS Pro 1500 is a great power backup. Had no problems what so ever. I really like the way it shuts of everything (if plugged into the right place) when you just shut off your computer and the all you have to do is turn your computer back on and everything comes back on also. Out on location my go to is the Juice Box Battery for Explorer 1500 Power Supply. The great thing, its 100% less noise then your clunky generators. I have two of these workhorses and i'm very confident out on location. 5 |

Needed a power backup for my security system. I have the 1500 and the 700 unit and they both perform reliably whenever power goes out. Some people complain about monitoring software, but I haven't had any issues. Windows automatically detects it as a backup battery or you can install Liebert software for a few more options. 5 |

The first day using the APC Pro 1500 UPC has shown how dirty the power in my area really is coming in from the electric company.
