but it is unsettling to have the upstream light flashing

I've been using this model battery since 1999 and it has never let me down.

The Impact TL-SA Umbrella Tilt Adapter is entirely made of metal and it's got some weight, which to me is always good. It features a removable Steel Baby Pin with an anti-rotate design on the TL-SA's base, which means, whatever you mount on the baby pin, for example, your light panel, it will not rotate, which is a common thing every time I mount something on a boom or a C Stand, things tend to rotate by the end pole's thread which is super annoying due to gravity. Having a L Rachet knob to adjust the tilt is a plus too, being much better than a thumb knob, plus it has locking teeth, so when you mount something heavier, it will stay set where you leave it. I'm using this device with a Lowel TOTA LED XL light panel. The umbrella hole, insert the umbrella from the front. The back has a metal tab inside to secure the umbrella from sliding out. No tightening screw needed. Also, place the umbrella far enough so the entire umbrella surface is cover by your light's beam. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review].

I use this with my 5D Mark II to mount a TL-50 light and an MKE-400 Sennheiser shotgun mic. It works great by being able to fly the mic off to the left to limit camera noise.

The Impact T12-MM-BP is the perfect solution for holding tube lights like the Godox TL 30 and TL-60 or ANY tube light that does NOT exceed a T-12 type / thickness. Whatever light brand you have, whether it is a Pavotube, Sutefoto, Amaran or others, make sure you read the manufacturer's specifications on how thick your tube is. You'll want to be looking for T-12 diameter. The materials you find on the T12-MM-BP are super tough ABS Plastic & CNC Aluminum Construction, which is miles away from the fragile cheap plastic clear holders that comes with the TL-60/30 that sometimes causes scratches on my light. The T12-MM-BP will wrap around your tube light perfectly and without damaging anything. I find that, there's absolutely no need to strap "security" Velcro straps on anything around to help hold the tube lights. Once you tighten, and lightly, your tube light is not going anywhere. Don't over tighten! Just enough torque is sufficient. But if you want to put the lights overhead, you can add the Velcro's (not included) but I won't. No need. The aluminum pin that mounts on a stand or anything else you may have, make sure it accommodates a 3/8-16 thread as these are designed for maximum sturdiness. No 14-20 support on these. And they have a hexagon shape and design, so, when you mount it on the top hole, they will never turn or rotate regardless of the position. The threads, when screwing or unscrewing, it's so fast and fluid. No resistance whatsoever. It spins freely until it stops at the top or bottom! When tightening the jaws, the mechanism will always be aligned. It opens and closes perfectly aligned. Everything to make your life easy they thought of. You can stack as many Impact T12-MM-BP on top of the other as you need. I included pictures with this review so you can see plenty of examples there including mounting options. I have a Leica Summicron-TL f/2 for my Leica CL, but wanted an even faster lens for portraits in low light. I considered the Summilux f/1.4, but couldn't find even a used one for less than about $1600. I finally decided on this Sigma L-mount model, and it's given me fantastic low-light capability.

This is a very nice headlamp, without two levels of white light, a red light and a flashing red light.  Having the battery pack on the back makes it much easier to balance and the straps are adjustable over a wide range.

Great size, love the built in light (it has flashing mode for some reason, just if you need to give someone a seizure on a film set?) I have always wanted this Porta Brace bag but kept talking myself out of it. I finally pulled the trigger on buying one and I'm glad I did. Sometimes I have a small lens in it if i am shooting an event with a smaller camera, but on a full set I kit it out with all the tools I'll need. for camera department. If you are on the fence about it, do it.

This flashing is amazing. The variable light settings to the strobe. No concerns on purchasing the light at all. I would love to give one to every person in my family. BUY IT YOU'LL LOVE IT!!!!
