1St Generation Macintosh Computer

Had the 1st generation Apple Pencil - this one is even better. Use it everyday in a variety of ways. 5 |

This MacBook is fast. I've owned a Macintosh computer since the early fat Macs came out back in 1984. This one blows everything away. Everything I throw at it works so smoothly. Even Zoom backgrounds work great without a green screen. Transferring everything from my previous MacBook was trivial and took less than 15 minutes transferring via wifi. 5 |

It works with my Macintosh laptop computer. Now when I give a PowerPoint presentation I can stand in the front of the room, control PowerPoint without having to appoint a flipper, and highlight things on the screen. 5 |

I bought this to use specifically with my 1st-Generation LensBaby. It's done all that I expected, is easy to install or remove, polarizes just as well as the larger-diameter circular polarizer I use with my regular lenses, and rotates with silky smoothness. Well worth what I paid for it 5 |

I have several of these now, going back to the 1st generation model. They are a breeze to set up and connect to everything over Wi-Fi. The the plugs connected to our lamps, we utilize Alexa to turn our lights on or off via voice commands. Alexa can be also used to automate lighting and such, but I prefer to use the Wemo app for that. Apparently they also integrate with all the other automation hubs, including Apple and Google, but I haven't tried either of those yet. 5 |

After using my 1st generation 70-200mm f/2.8(A009) for about 5 yrs, I had the chance to use the new 70-200mm f/2.8 G2 lens. The new lens in my opinion is faster and the VC works better than the 1st lens. Along with the lens I also bought the 2X teleconverter. I must say that it works perfectly with this new lens. Auto focus works flawlessly. I am very happy with my purchase of this Tamron lens. I am not a professional photographer but I really enjoy photography and you can't go wrong with new lens. 5 |

After dealing with the Apple Pencil 1st Generation, found this a lot easier to store and charge. Plus its shape makes it easier to hold and write or in my case draw with. 5 |

Huge improvement over 1st generation. No need for charging cord! No little charge port cap to get lost! Instructions say to double-tap the side to change modes, but I have yet to see how that works... 5 |

I'm upgrading from the 1st generation, and it's very nice to have it charge magnetically while sitting in the case. The whole squeeze to access tools seems a little like magic. You just hold the pencil above where you're working and squeeze and various tools become available (depending on the particular app being used.). Very solid feel and comfortable. 5 |

The Genie One operates at about half or less of the volume (motor noise) of the original Genie. I had a VERY difficult time connecting to a brand new iPhone 12 to do the firmware upgrade and was about to give up and return it to B&H. I was able to update both of my 1st generation Genie Mini on the first try. The Syrp website suggests using an Android phone. I live in an all Apple household, and I was going to borrow a friend's Android, but tried one last thing. I have a 1st generation iPad Mini, and tried loading the newest version of the Syrp app onto it. That worked, so I tried connecting the Genie One, and voila, the iPad downloaded the update and loaded it onto the Genie One on the first try. There are some very nice upgrades to the app and device and all are compatible with the 1st generation Genie Minis that I have for pan/tilt. All in all a great system, but there were big hiccups on the firmware updates. 5 |
