This is a good value drive. The 2TB is just a few $ more than the 1TB. It seems to be well made and should last well into the future.

The SanDisk 1TB Extreme Pro USB 3.2 flash drive is very well made and durable - great if you travel or carry it a lot. Also, the speed of the drive is fast. Recommended. Also, very fast shipping by B & H Photo.

This is larger than my WD Passport 1TB portable drive. In fact, it can hold 2 WD 1TB Passports, OR a 2TB and a 1TB portable drive. No padding, just a firm soft case for protection. Good quality materials, and stitching. I wish it was a custom fit for my Portable HDs. Smaller would be better.

I upgraded my Windows 7 machine from a 1TB to a 2TB hard drive it was easy to install. I used Clonezilla Live to transfer an image of my old drive to the new one and then expanded the 1TB partition to a 2TB partition using AOMEI Partition Assistant pro.

WD is the only drive I'll use I got a 500GB, 1TB, 2TB and now a 5TB. I got all kinds of internal drives and my oldest I have 3 80GB ...one still unopen.

Ive had smaller versions of this drive (512MB and 1TB) and decided to jump to 2TB as the RAW files coming off the newer DSLRs are very large (95MB+ for D850).  Also, since the prices on these are starting to come down, I couldnt resist.  This product is very quick and reliable.

I had filled up my 1TB linux laptop drive. I used this with a new Kingston 2TB drive as an intermediary to clone my drive and double my space. Now the original drive is in here and I now have a super compact usb disk! Pretty simple to do and this enclosure is great! thanks!

Used the enclosure to clone my 1TB SSD NVMe drive to a 2TB SSD NVMe drive, worked flawlessly.

In replacing my dead 1TB mechanical drive with a new Samsung 2TB Solid State Drive, I realized that the two were physically different. A simple stamped sheet metal adapter was in order. My brother who had vastly more experience in PC maintenance told me different. The new SSD was a real heat producer and the Sonnet Transposer Adapter was machined from a solid block of aluminum and also acted as a heatsink for the drive. The adapter & drive came very quickly from B&H . The install took about 2 minuets, everything aligned, the provided screws fit perfectly, combining the adapter and new drive. The assembly slid into place, replacing the old drive. The power supply & SATA wires now plugged into the adapters edge connectors without issues. The PC is back to work. I would recommend this for anyone upgrading to an SSD without hesitation.

Upgrading from a 1TB to a 2TB is the way to go. This drive is fast and preforms great. It's an easy buying decision, for the first time in a while I feel some breathing room in my storage requirements. I'll be ready for a 3TB disk in a year or so!
