I replaced using a 1TB with this 8TB external hard drive for backing up my computer's internal hard drive monthly. The cost of 1TB was 2/3 of the cost of 8TB and now I don't drop off older backups. Easy enough to reformat for an iMac which you will need to do before your first backup. B&H computer reps will guide you through the first time; they are always willing to assist. I wrote the steps down and have done it solo 2X since. 5 |

I ordered and am now using a LaCie 1TB Rugged Mini external hard drive for a number of reasons: I need to be able to travel with a reasonable amount of moving image that I can share with my co-editor (also a LaCie user), so the product is not only changing hands, but also has to sustain travel, in various contexts. My first LaCie back-up drive (20 years ago?) has survived all kinds of conditions, and many years of service, so I prefer to rely on brands that have served me well! It is honestly not portable, gone are those early days of bulky, heavy equipment, at least for me! I would buy another LaCie tomorrow if needed. 5 |

When I bought my 1TB G-Drive External Hard Drive to store my Lightroom photos, I realized I needed a case for it. I looked at many different cases, but I ended up choosing this one for its small size and hard external skin. My 1TB G-Drive fits perfectly in it with the thunderbolt cable. I carry this in my camera bag along with my camera and lenses. Great product! 5 |

I do travel photography, this 1TB LaCie external hard drive is my life source. I’m always super super busy so need something that can make my life a little easier and it does just that. Ide give it 10 stars if I could. Very portable, very easy to use and it can take a lot of abuse. 5 |

Use this great little case for my G-Drive mobile 1TB drive. Has a small external pocket that is perfect for the USB3.0 cable for the drive. Also, just got my Focus 5 Monitor from SmallHD and was a little concerned about protecting it in my bag. The Ruggard case is a perfect fit for the monitor as well. Great protection at a very good price. 5 |
