1Tb Ssd Drive Samsung

I replaced my small system SSD with the 1TB Samsung. I now have lots of room for software files and data. It's a fast drive. It was a pain in the butt to move the system software to the new drive but it didn't have anything to do with the Samsung.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got the new Samsung T9 Portable 1TB SSD drive. The drive is unexpectedly small and quite attractive with a rubber-like covering. I’m very pleased that the drive comes with both USB-A and USB-C cords for attaching to most any type of device. The drive is connected via USB-C to my Mac Studio computer. The Mac OS instantly recognized the drive and allowed me to format it for my Mac (Mac OS Extended Journaled). I tested the speed with a disk speed test utility, which reported 829.8 MB/s (write) and 890.8 MB/s (read). The speed is approximately 11X faster than my other USB external drives. I am struggling with the included Samsung PSSD utility. The app always tells me that the drive is not connected although my Mac sees it and allows me to use it. I’ve tried all of the Samsung troubleshooting suggestions for Mac OS, but it still remains unusable. That really makes no difference for me to use it. Nevertheless, I like everything about the Samsung T9 Portable 1TB SSD drive. It’s a great addition to my system.

In replacing my dead 1TB mechanical drive with a new Samsung 2TB Solid State Drive, I realized that the two were physically different. A simple stamped sheet metal adapter was in order. My brother who had vastly more experience in PC maintenance told me different. The new SSD was a real heat producer and the Sonnet Transposer Adapter was machined from a solid block of aluminum and also acted as a heatsink for the drive. The adapter & drive came very quickly from B&H . The install took about 2 minuets, everything aligned, the provided screws fit perfectly, combining the adapter and new drive. The assembly slid into place, replacing the old drive. The power supply & SATA wires now plugged into the adapters edge connectors without issues. The PC is back to work. I would recommend this for anyone upgrading to an SSD without hesitation.

I cloned my 500mg SSD boot drive to this 1tb m.2 drive with Samsung cloning software. All went smoothly and now everything loads much faster. A very worthwhile upgrade.

Good SSD drive almost as Samsung EVO ssd for less price.

I recently got a SanDisk 1TB SSD (Solid State Drive) and used a drive cloning device to clone my old 1TB Hard Disk Drive (HDD) to the new SSD. It works wonders in my 15 year old computer! It really speeds up drive-related activities, perhaps as much as 3 or 4 times faster. I think my old HP laptop computer is either a SATA or SATA II type, so I suspect those with a SATA III system would see even better speed results when going from a HDD to a SSD. Gotta love it!

I used this to transfer the contents of a 1Tb SSD to another drive. The adapter worked perfectly.

Computer recognized it without any trouble. It is working very well with my new 1TB SSD drive. Computer runs better than new!

As stated this is my very first SSD in my life. When I was researching products I wanted to go with the best and this is where I came to. Samsung Pro 1TB SSD. This thing zips through programs/games like the rest of the world is standing still. No going back but always moving forward with an Epic product by a Legendary company.
