I was about to buy a 1tb WD My Passport when I noticed there was also a 2tb model for only$ more & so I could not pass it up. The USB 3.0 seems to add a nice speed burst with my 2012 MBA, but even with my older Mac Pro & USB 2 it still moves data quite fast, plus the drive barely gets warm even during big transfers. I love the portability and the small form factor & it is working great for keeping my large music library handy when needed, or storing/moving around large Pro Tools sessions or Final Cut movie projects. At this point it appears to be a perfect drive for my needs plus B&H got it to me cheaper than * could do with only a couple of extra days shipping time.Overall I am very satisfied and hope this drive continues to work this smoothly for years to come. 5 |

I have been using a 1TB Passport USB Hard Drive for Mac by WD for second backup. The first is a fatter 1TB WD drive with a useful Firewire connection.Recently, I noted a surge in digital photos in my files that I have been backing up regularly. I am approaching the 1 TB, so I decided to but this modest 2TB drive.It is literally plug-and-play. I shall probably buy another one soon for the sake of making redundant backups. At the current prices, this is a modest investment in securing my digital files. 5 |

SanDisk is the only USB flash drive that I'll purchase. Never had an issue. I buy the 32GB for everyday stuff. The 256GB I use to download videos. I don't trust any other flash drive for this use. 5 |

This 1TB Gold Anniversary Edition is another great hard drive from Western Digital.There are only two things that I do not particularly like about this drive.1.There are no rubber feet on the underside of the unit2.The USB cable is thicker and stiffer than the earlier modelsThese two combine to cause the drive to sometimes slide around when it's sitting on a smooth surface particularly when the USB cable is plugged into my MacBook Pro.Apart from those two minor complaints I really like this drive.1.This unit has so far performed flawlessly. 2.Compatible with both PC and Mac 3.USB 3.0/2.04.It's extremely fast and quiet5.Huge capacity6.Great price 7.Stays cool8.It looks awesome, has great form factor9.Contrary to what another reviewer has stated, this drive is extremely easy to reformat to the Mac platform, it took me all of 2 minutes10.Oh Yes, and there's Free Expedited Shipping, gotta love FES 5 |

We are using a flash drive to store and playback videos on a portable projector. I tried with a USB 3.0 Flash Drive, thinking the newer version was better. But the projector had a different idea. I learned from the professionals at B+H that this unit requires an older USB 2.0 Flash Drive. I never would have thought of that but sure enough, when I used this Verbatim 64G Ergo USB 2.0, the projector recognized the videos and played them flawlessly. 5 |
