Verbatim brand is always durable and dependable. Some dvd brands are just like 1% or 2% bad among 100's.

Youd think for the price this would have some flaws. At f.1/4 its pretty sharp at f.2 its razor sharp. I did not look at the outer edges of the frames as Im concerned with my subject. Good buy for the price.

I had no complaints with v.1 but I can notice a (very small) improvement in the finish of v.2. It’s now less rugged which makes the image a little less “blurry”

Works great out of the box on both Windows and Linux (various Ubuntu flavors). Provides a NIC for laptops without one.

I have used many of the these PNY SSDs to upgrade older laptops. One of the best value SSDs with TLC memory. Never had one fail yet. Linux and these SSDs give new life to older laptops that can no longer securely run windows 7. Linux Lite 5.2 especially works very well as a replacement for windows 7, plus it's free.

SSD's make a laptop with a hard drive appear much faster. Some desktops and laptops are fitted with an M.2 SSD that is too small to be practical. Since SSD prices have come down so much over the years, upgrades are economical. When upgrading a laptop, you clone the existing drive onto the new M.2 SSD inserted in this enclosure and swap the two. Or you add the new M.2 SSD into a previously unoccupied slot. This enclosure makes it possible. And in the rare case the drive cloning did not succeed, nothing is lost. An essential part of your computer toolkit.

It works great out of the box, but be careful the screws provided are tiny. I have several laptops some with only m.2 connections, and some with only ssd 2.5.  With this enclosure I am able to move storage around when needed.

1 stop is the right amount for me.
