2 Monitors 1 Computer Different Resolutions

Used to connect a Mini DP port on laptop to DP port in twin external monitors - resolutions inside the ports bandwidth, allowing both external monitors plus the laptop monitor working on extended view. No flickering, lagging or other issues. Plug and go, in accordance with provided instructions. Bought this since I needed to convert from DVI as my monitors did not have them. Was concerned about the resolutions past 1920x1200 (as spec-ed, single vs dual link DVI, active vs passive, etc) and lo and behold, plugged in both ends, and my GTX970 DVI to HDMI input on the Asus came up at full 2560x1440. Works great, cheap price, and as usual fast B&H shipping!

Youd think for the price this would have some flaws. At f.1/4 its pretty sharp at f.2 its razor sharp. I did not look at the outer edges of the frames as Im concerned with my subject. Good buy for the price.

I had no complaints with v.1 but I can notice a (very small) improvement in the finish of v.2. It’s now less rugged which makes the image a little less “blurry”

Wonderful device; scaler only does SMPTE resolutions (one would think it would be easy to include additional computer resolutions that would make this the all-purpose computer scaler saving use all A LOT of money). App works well for controlling the device. All-around, a great tool to have in your arsenal - even if you don't need one now.

I've had this about a week and I love it so far. In the past recording has been a burden. Different mixers, computer apps, and recording groove machines never really worked for me as far as making music and recording and organization of tracks and samples. I love the work flow. Recorded a few short tracks and it's becoming intuitive quickly. So many things to dive into on this device and its all in one place. I still use my computer and controllers too with it.

All you need for gaming in higher resolutions without bottlenecking.
