Great M.2 SSD. You get a PCIe 4.0 SSD, it is very fast and does not heat up a lot. All the chip are on 1 side so you don't need all the additional heat sink.

I chose this enclosure because I wanted to use one of my new M.2 drives as a fast transfer and travel drive. What I did not know at the time was that M.2 drives come in two main flavors: SATA and NVMe. Hint: Make sure you understand the difference before you buy drives! The SATA M.2 drives have two slots. This unit is very easy to open and insert drive. The little tab to hold the end of the drive down is a tad stiff, but it works. I like the detachable cable as I prefer that to integrated cables. I find the unit gets a bit hot while in use. The main failure cause for M.2 drives is heat. I am hoping that the heat I feel on the outside of this enclosure is due to the heat being transferred away from the drive. (So I'm hoping it's a designed heat sink)

i purchased this device strictly for the speed of the device and for the most part the unit hits the advertised speed. unfortunately, the difference between my old pci-e 4.0 m.2 (5000 mb/s) drive and this new pci-e 4.0 m.2 (6900 mb/s) drive was not enough to physically feel much difference. i was worried about heat so i installed an external heatsink on the device prior to installation. the heatsink keeps the device at or below 60c so i am please with the temps. the device does have a heat spreader built into the label but since i used an external heatsink i do not know how effective the heat spreader is at controlling the temperature. overall if you want bragging rights this drive is for you.

Well made, heavy heat sinks. Plenty of features like fast USB ports. 2.5 and 1 ghz ethernet. 3 M.2 SSD, plenty ARGB fan headers. Detailed online manual that helps explain PCI slots to cpus and chip set connections so you can place your M.2 drives in the correct location. This board takes time checking your RAM initailly, so best to start with one stick first and then add the rest once the MB determines how to use the memory. System very stable. Although still funs on DDR4 memory the system still benchmarks pretty fast. This MB is great for those not wanting to pay for the better top on the line creator board. This board still has plenty of yhe features the higher end board has.

Added 4 Samsung m.2 ssd cards to this and blazing fast under raid 0 even via the old PCIe 3 connection. The card will slightly bend when you put on all the thermo pads and tighten the heat sink but otherwise perfect. No sound and heat managed very well.

Was running out of space on my PS5 and this went in perfectly, and the heat sink fit my PS5 flawlessly. I am able to play my games from the M.2 and the transfer speeds between Console and M.2 storage are lightning fast.

My posture has really improved with this stand, and my computer dissipates heat well using it.
