2 Space Rack Mount Case

You can never have too much space in a rack drawer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent space saver and solution to my mounting needs. I needed to mount a ThinkCentre Tiny in an audio/video rack and this unit allowed me to mount it right behind the flat screen tv already mounted in the rack.

It took some checking around, but we found what we need at Mount It. The rack I ordered arrived as promised! We had it installed, and it works well for the unusual space in which our flat screen is hung.

I use two single space rack mount Shure wireless receivers in a 4 space rack case - this just holds our wireless receivers, a power filter with pull out lights, and a 2 space pull out drawer for mic storage. Along the back of the case I use a Shure aerial extension. And to connect the mic's to our sound system I have a four line snake. My problem was that the XLR connects to the Shure receivers are half way into the case, difficult to see, and no room for a 90 degree fitting. So these 15 XLR extensions are the perfect length and the high quality shielding provides for no line noise. I wrapped the cable with one twist and attached it to a stick on fastener with small tie to the drawer lid. Now connecting the snake ends is much easier and gentle on the XLR cable ends.

This was perfect for the underside of a shelf on my desk. I could add the rack space without a large space hogging rack case.

case is very sturdy with lots of rack space.Its time to rock on with no worries about our equipment not being protected anymore.Now I need to purchase more equiptment to fill some spaces up.

I picked up this case to replace a 6 space shallow rack and a 4 space shallow rack that I had been joining when I DJd weddings or hosted karaoke. The major concern that I wanted to address with this rack was setup time and it solved that perfectly. Not only is all my equipment located in one rack now, there's also room for all cables (especially speaker cables) so setup is a breeze. The rack rails are solid, the 10 spaces are truly 10 spaces, the overall build is sturdy while also being lightweight and the rack is attractive. I would definitely recommend this rack.

Loving this rack case.

I used these to make my own desktop rack mount case for audio gear. They work very well and are sturdy. I'll be getting more of these!
