The Thule 15.6 laptop bag is perfect for safely and securely transporting my 16 inch laptop. There is adequate padding provided to protect it from minor bumps and drops. Along with both a handle for carrying, it It also provides a shoulder strap. It additionally provides several added zippered and padded pockets for peripherals that might be needed for its use along with a strap that slips over the extended handle of a rolling bags that will secure it to a rolling bag when transiting through airports. There is no question that it is well made and will last the test of time. At the time of purchase I also ordered the Thermaltake Notebook Cooler which keeps my laptop from overheating during extended use. It amounts to minimally elevated ergonomic designed platform to provide a comfortable typing angle. It is made of plastic and a metal mesh with a small light weight, silent fan, providing the cooling. It has an adjustable speed knob to set the needed cooling. It will accommodate up to a 17 inch laptop. There are rubber tabs at the corners to keep the laptop from sliding off of the platform. I would however advise using this product on a flat hard surface as it functions on air flow. If it is used sitting on your lap or other like surface it’s efficiency will be significantly reduced. It provides an attached USB cable to connect to a power source. The cable is conveniently stored in its base. I ran both the laptop and Notebook Cooler off of my PowerCore. As an plus to this setup the NoteBook Cooler fits inside a it’s own secondary Thule zippered pocket. In the remaining pockets in the Thule bag there was still room for with my laptop and its necessary peripherals. If I wanted there was still additional padded space for an iPad and iPhone. This package met all of my wishes in providing me with a functioning, protected mobile technology base. PS The Thermaltake Notebook Cooler was purchased from B&H for $19.99. Can’t beat that.

This is the best purchase that I have made. Before I received this item, I would use my laptop, and it would be burning hot, but since using this item, my computer has never been cooler.

After buying a notebook computer with USB-C ports, I wanted a card reader that could take advantage of the speed. I first bought a cheap no-name reader from a different vendor, but found that it was very slow, slower than the USB3 reader that came with my XQD cards. Then I went back and read the reviews, finding some who said that the cheap reader had intermittent problems that actually destroyed data on their camera cards! Into the trash it went, and I immediately bought this Sony card reader. It's been fast and trouble free.

I recently moved up from an older laptop with only USB type A connections to one with only type C connections. All of my old devices are of no use on the new computer without adapters like these. They work perfectly. Of course, I don't gain the higher speed connections of Thunderbolt connectivity with my older devices, but they work as fast as they ever did. I'm new to recording for AM radio, but I know what I want - a clean recording, one that can be cranked up without annoying distortion, and procedures that are easy to understand and do. It's all in the RODE USB podcaster. In the past three months, I've tried SM58s, Shure SM63LB (mic for television interviewing), and several other mics that I plugged into my laptop 1/8 port - and they all made somewhat degradable recordings. The RODE USB connection means that the mic goes directly into my computer USB port - like it was meant to in the first place - and it goes directly into my Audacity software - BOOM - clean and bright. I don't want headaches with complicated hookups for my computer. I have a Windows 7 laptop, and all I did was stick the USB wire into the computer. Fantastic. Twenty seconds later a message popped up - Successfully installed. I went to my software and hit the record button, and INSTANTLY I was recording. What a gem.
