2 Way Remote Car Starter Stopped Working

This is a replacement flashlight to my HP1. The light output is excellent. Way more than the HP1. I used my HP1 for about 3 years and it stopped working. Filled out the warranty claim and they replaced it with the HX5 because the HP1 was no longer available. I have many Coast flashlight and this EDC is the best. Small, easy to carry and bright. 5 |

Bought this because my radio in the car stopped working right before my 18 hour drive and it did way than I expected the mic is clear so people can actually hear you clearly when on a phone call the battery life is great and was able to charge while playing music with no issue for continuous play back 5 |

I bought an imitation on ...that stopped working within a few months. This remote does not work on my D300 but is great with my D50.Triggers the shutter. If you are in the shot, use this with the 2 second delay so you can lower your hand instead of getting a shot of yourself pointing the remote at the camera. SImple to use but small - easily lost in my camera bad. I put a yellow cord on the little storage case. They tell me it will cost $150 to duplicate the function of the device on my D300. 5 |

I use the remote shutter for long night exposures. I had a cheap off-brand that just stopped working; I think you get what you pay for. This is exactly as advertised and works just like all Canon products. It's perfect. 5 |

Great sound. So far only issue was the tabletop remote stopped working but after figuring out how to pull the batteries out (not easy) and in, it worked. Really like the shortcut buttons. I have it set to two stations on TuneIn and set up a Pandora account which works even with the tv off. I like it. Sound went from a 2 to a 9 out of 10. Some instructions you have to go online but set up pretty quickly. 5 |

I had bought and off brand remote a long time ago and it stopped working for me almost right away. So I bought this little guy and I just took it out of the box and started snapping away with it. The immediate and 2 sec switch on the back is a great added feature. 5 |

I've used two Satechi remote shutter releases, and each one gave up the ghost. The first one quit after about two months and was replaced free of charge by Satechi. The second one lasted about a year, but then just stopped working. It is a wireless remote, so both the sending unit and receiver (that plugs into the camera) use a battery. I never needed the sending unit despite my thinking I would take remote photos of wildlife, but I had to replace its battery after a while. The receiving unit worked for about a year then stopped. Using it as a corded shutter release doesn't require battery power, but the button just stopped working despite the lights lighting when I put it into remote mode, indicating that the battery was still working. So I don't know what is wrong with it. So now I have the Canon RS-80N3 wired remote. It uses no batteries. Some people may say that its cord is too short, but I have not encountered a shortness problem yet. I've only had it a few weeks, but it is built very ruggedly. I have it (as I had the Satechi) attached to my tripod and ALWAYS use it when my camera is on the tripod. When I press the button even only a touch the camera sets up. When I press the button all the way there is a definite change in button resistance, so there is an excellent tactile difference between a partial push and a snap the shutter push. My one complaint is that I'm always looking for the button on the far end of the switch housing, but it is on the wire end of the switch housing. This isn't a fault of the product but just a difference between Canon's designer's preference and my preference. Also, since I've had it for only a few weeks I can't vouch for its longevity, although I've already taken hundreds of photos with it. Yes, it is perhaps expensive, but it is built well and works well, and this pleases me very much. And it's made in Japan, not China! Right now I give it a five out of five stars. I just hope it lasts a few years. 5 |

I needed a replacement for my RoKu remote as I accidently dropped the original too many times and it stopped working. This remote was such a pleasant surprise as it added many features including a power button, volume up/down, and mute. This worked out of the box and even controls my sound bar. It also has a built-in microphone, which works in any of the apps and is a faster way to search for things. Great Remote for Roku! Would definitely get it again! 5 |

This remote switch is priced nicely compared to the Canon-branded version. This is my second one, however, as my first switch stopped working after about 2 years of sporadic use. 5 |
