my last one broke because the glass was fixed on the mounting bracket with glue, this one is built way better. it would be nice if the camera mount was adjustable to move it farther back for longer lens/larger cameras. 5 |

Nowadays, products just don't deliver as they promised. But this lens cap does. It snaps onto the front of an 82mm lens, such as its new intended best friend: my Fujinon Zoom. It keeps most light and dust out, and more importantly, keeps the magic gremlins that live in my lens trapped inside, so they can't get at me or my loved ones during the dark of nighttime. Truthfully, I do occasionally think of the raw materials cost of plastic pellets, and comparing the actual materials cost as a percentage of retail price and what the start to finish markup is. But percentages don't matter when you're just trying to keep your glass clean. It's better, I found, not to think about those types of things. The spring-loaded squeeze tabs that easily allow you to disengage the holding mechanism work brilliantly. They are MUCH better than the old style lens caps we used to have to glue into place. There's no sloppy mess on the glass, and you don't have to pay for glue (I always got nasty looks when purchasing, because the clerks knew I was too old to be building airplane models, and they thought I was feeding my glue-sniffing habit). Overall, I'm glad I purchased this, and my lens is too, who used to complain that having no lens cap was like walking around without underwear. And pants. 5 |

Re-kindling a love of photography. The a7ll is good quality not top of the line; right in my comfort zone. Feels good in my hands. Simple as I need it to be. I'm sure it can be as complex as I want it to be, but I'm not there yet. Have captured some keepers. Lots of gadgets & options available so.. Full frame sensor w/ decent pixel count. I'm not a pro; this right for me. 5 |
