2001 White Computer Speakers Vocal

I casually listen to my iTunes collection, Apple Music, and SoundCloud. Play:5 sounds wonderful: full, deep, rich sound, surprising bass, no distortion; Is reliable: music never skips or stalls. I replaced a pair of M-Audio computer speakers. Play:5 sounds better than any computer speakers and bookshelf speakers I have owned. Play:5 in white looks beautiful, especially with white shelving. I bought Play:5 in December 2015 when a 45-day return period was offered. I have no regrets. The only disappointment is in the controller software. Sonos Controller for Mac is like a music player from the early 2000s; Difficult to navigate; Awful for discovery. I wish I could play my iTunes collection from iTunes to Play:5 (without AirPlay). I lose over a decade of metadata gathered from my music habits. But, Play:5 sounds great.

I spotted these speakers to complete my desktop computer sound system, and I am not disappointed! I have a white desk, white keyboard, white curved monitor, white Fractal Design computer case, white pod chair...you get the idea. It's all very sleek and clean looking. But I wanted speakers that were high-quality and sounded good, with an appearance to fit in with my high-end computer system & home office. The Kanto YU2 speakers are prefect! I have them connected to a 50w 6 1/2 Yamaha ported sub under my desk, and it's actually a little overpowering. (I would like to add the sealed Kanto Sub6 in the future, I think it would be a better match.) But these speakers are not concert hall loudspeakers, they are limited in a perfectly appropriate way for a desktop, facing you a short distance away. That said, they also fill my room with sound, and I listen to them in my nearby kitchen & living room as well. Quality is very high, they have a very sturdy, well-done construction. They actually manage to produce respectable bass, but are quite complete with eh sub I described. I even love the included Kanto 1/4" headphone cable, I use it with my iPhone on occasion. Otherwise, these speakers are connected to my computer via USB, which required no set-up. LOVE them!

These speakers are a solid upgrade from regular computer speakers and they are small enough to fit almost anywhere. The matte white colour looks good and the integrated USB DAQ is nice to have.

I purchased these speakers primarily to get vocal clarity and I have not been disappointed. Performance at all levels have been above expectations. The look of the speakers have a great design. A+ Rating from me.

For mixing these are hard to beat. Clean. Every vocal. Every nuance. Every instrument. If it's clean on these speakers it will be great on whatever folks are listening on...even the non-discerning. And if you want to rock out with them, you can equalize and turn the volume up. Can't imagine a better set of speakers for a small room mix.

I purchased these speakers for parties to allow guests to sing along to the music. Music and vocal quality through the speakers is excellent - I was only able to get good music quality through the 1/8 aux input, not sure why unless the other line inputs are really meant for vocal only. I did use a stereo breakout cable to get separate left and right channels to two of these, and it sounded great.

This microphone does it all very well. I have used mine for over a decade for use with computer speech recognition, ham radio, public address, vocal music performance, and general speech recording. I am a microphone junkie, with many other quality microphones and this one does it all well. Solid feel with enough weight and ballast for hand-held use, with a rich, expensive-looking, extremely durable finish. Money well spent. TT
